Jaylen Waddle should be Denver's unquestioned WR1 this season. Last year, among 109 qualifying wide receivers, he was 12th in target per route run rate, 12th in yards per route run, seventh in first downs per route run, 12th in separation score, and 11th in route win rate. He also bested Courtland Sutton in each of those metrics with the exception of route win rate (15.3% vs. 15.5%). We'll see how quickly the new (or throwback, depending on how you choose to view it) look Kansas City corner room can hit the ground running with Nohl Williams (2025: 52.6% catch rate and 85.0 passer rating) starting opposite Mansoor Delane (rookie) and L'Jarius Sneed (2025: 60.9% catch rate and 139.3 passer rating). Waddle should be heavily involved Week 1.
