Devy Fantasy Football Rankings: Wide Receivers (2025)

Welcome back for another edition of my Devy Rankings series, where I’ll be covering my wide receiver Devy ranks for 2025. While we’re still over a year out from the 2026 NFL Draft, and plenty can change in that time, the 2026 class appears to be rather underwhelming at every fantasy position except for quarterback. Because of this, you’ll see a number of 2027 prospects atop my rankings below, namely at the wide receiver position. I’ll be covering my Top 15 Devy wide receivers, which you can use as a guide to navigate through your Devy startups this offseason. Without further ado, let’s dive right in!

2025 NFL Draft Guide: Mock Drafts, Scouting Reports & More

Devy Fantasy Football Rankings: Wide Receivers

1. Jeremiah Smith – Ohio State

Jeremiah Smith has had a historic true freshman season for the Buckeyes, amassing over 1,200 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. Hitting these marks as a 19-year-old playing alongside other star wide receivers like Emeka Egbuka and Carnell Tate is truly mind-boggling. Smith is all but locked into the 1.01 for 2027 Superflex rookie drafts. He’s a generational talent and should be a borderline Top 5 WR in Dynasty before stepping onto an NFL field. Target him aggressively in your Devy leagues – it’s hard to overpay for a talent like this.

2. Ryan Williams – Alabama

Ryan Williams may be the most exciting athlete to watch in college football today. The true freshman established himself as the alpha wide receiver in Tuscaloosa, finishing the season with 87 targets, 48 receptions, 865 yards, and eight touchdowns. Williams is a quick twitch athlete with elite YAC ability due to his speed and elusiveness. He’s a human highlight reel out there – every time he touches the football, it feels like he can take it to the house. The two red flags here are his size (6’0″, 175 lbs.) and his drop rate in 2024 (12.7%).

3. Carnell Tate – Ohio State

Carnell Tate’s raw numbers through his first two seasons may not appear overly impressive, but he’s had to compete for targets with Marvin Harrison Jr., Emeka Egbuka, and Jeremiah Smith. Tate is currently sitting with 50 receptions for nearly 700 yards and four touchdowns this season, with one more game to go against Notre Dame in the national championship. Tate is a true X receiver with adequate size, speed, and route running skills to excel at the NFL level. I expect him to flirt with 1,000 yards in 2025 with Egbuka leaving, and he should be an early declare in 2026.

4. Evan Stewart – Oregon

Evan Stewart is more of a projections-based bet at this point, but the athleticism and ball skills are so apparent on film that I am still confident he’ll become a legitimate Dynasty asset. Stewart was the borderline WR1 in his class following his freshman year at Texas A&M, posting 99 targets, 53 receptions, 643 yards, and two touchdowns. QB Conner Weigman and Evan Stewart were supposed to be the dynamic duo, but injuries robbed us of that pairing. Fast forward to 2024, and Stewart transferred to Oregon only to be overshadowed by fifth-year senior Tez Johnson. Stewart announced his return to Eugene for his senior season, which I think is a good call. He can still be a Round 1 NFL Draft pick with a big 2025 season for the Ducks.

5. Cam Coleman – Auburn

Coleman is coming off a productive true freshman year where he nearly hit 600 receiving yards and found the endzone eight times. The 6’3″ X receiver was a five-star recruit coming out of high school, so these numbers should not come as a surprise. Coleman is getting a QB upgrade in 2025 with Jackson Arnold transferring in, and things are looking up. The only concern would be that this Auburn WR corps is too loaded – in addition to Coleman, they have Malcolm Simmons, Perry Thompson, and now Eric Singleton Jr. There simply may be too many mouths to feed.

As you can see above, the top two wide receivers (and three of my top five) are 2027 prospects. I don’t have high hopes for the 2026 WR class, but the following year should have plenty of elite prospects. Now let’s see my Devy WRs ranked 6-15:

  1. Ryan Wingo – Texas
  2. Bryant Wesco – Clemson
  3. T.J. Moore – Clemson
  4. Jordyn Tyson – Arizona State
  5. Dakorien Moore – Oregon
  6. Eugene Wilson – Florida
  7. Malcolm Simmons – Auburn
  8. Eric Singleton Jr. – Auburn
  9. Kevin Concepcion – Texas A&M
  10. Zachariah Branch – Georgia
