Monday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Cade Cunningham, Karl-Anthony Towns, Amen Thompson (1/13)

Monday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Cade Cunningham, Karl-Anthony Towns, Amen Thompson (1/13)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (1/13)

Cade Cunningham (G – DET): 19.5 points (alt line)

Cade Cunningham continues his remarkable play for the Detroit Pistons, averaging 24.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 9.5 assists per game on a career-high .458 shooting. Cade is coming off a 22 point, 10 rebound, and 17 assist performance against the Toronto Raptors and should be rearing to go for his matchup against the Knicks. Cade posted a 29/10/15 triple double against the Knicks in their last matchup and dropped 22 on them in the other matchup this season. Cunningham has scored 22 or more points in four of his last five games. Clap the More on Cade for Monday night at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Karl-Anthony Towns (F/C – NYK): 0.5 double doubles

KAT continues to look like the top-10 version of himself in New York and comes into tonight averaging 25.4 points and 14.0 rebounds. The 14.0 rebounds puts him second in the league behind Domantas Sabonis. KAT’s rebound prowess and consistency makes this double double line one of the best plays whenever it is available, despite the low multiplier, due to being required to make multiple predictions at Sleeper Picks. Towns has recorded a double double in 33 of his 37 games played and is hot enough that he could get his 10 and 10 in the first half. Tap the More on Towns for Monday night basketball.

Pick: More

Amen Thompson (G/F – HOU): 5.5 rebounds (alt line)

Thompson gets a much more favorable alt line after his seven rebound performance in his last outing. Amen hauled in 16 and 15 rebounds in his first two games in the starting lineup following the injury to Jabari Smith and should continue to crash the glass tonight against the Grizzlies. The full line of eight still has some value, but considering the seven board performance was against this same Memphis team, the alt line is the much shrewder play despite the lowered multiplier. Amen is averaging 7.6 rebounds per game on the season. Light up the More on the Amen alt line for Monday night’s NBA action.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
