Tuesday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Paolo Banchero, LeBron James, Anthony Davis (1/21)

Tuesday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Paolo Banchero, LeBron James, Anthony Davis (1/21)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (1/21)

Paolo Banchero (F – ORL): 19.5 points (alt line)

Paolo went cold from the field on Sunday but should bounce back with relative ease against an overmatched Toronto Raptors team that can’t seem to shake the injury bug. Banchero has scored 20 or more points in four of his five games since returning from injury, taking 16 or more shots in two of those five, with 10 or more trips to the line in two. Push the More on Paolo for Tuesday night at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

LeBron James (G/F – LAL): 19.5 points (alt line)

LeBron has gotten back to being aggressive from the field, scoring 22 or more in each of his last three with at least 15 shots a game after back-to-back 18 point performances with 12 or fewer shots. For context, LeBron went almost two months between taking fewer than 13 field goal attempts (perhaps not coincidentally, two of those games involved the Spurs). Listed as probable for tonight’s game, expect LBJ to take his opportunity to continue to get right against a team that will offer little defensive resistance. Light up the More on LeBron for Tuesday night’s NBA action.

Pick: More

Anthony Davis (F/C – LAL): 0.5 double doubles

Davis has been rolling in the double double department lately, achieving the milestone in eight straight and 15 of his last 16 overall. The multiplier leaves something to be desired here based on his probability versus someone like Domantas Sabonis, Karl-Anthony Towns, or Nikola Jokic. Davis is averaging 11.1 rebounds per game and has an excellent opportunity to haul in at least 10 against one of the worst rebounding frontcourts in the NBA. Dap the More on Anthony Davis for Tuesday night basketball.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
