2025 Senior Bowl: Dynasty Rookie Winners & Losers (Fantasy Football)

This past weekend, the 2025 annual Senior Bowl was played took place in Mobile, AL.

The American team beat the National team 22-19, and it came down to the final play. Former TCU wide receiver Jack Bech caught a touchdown pass from former Memphis quarterback Seth Henigan to win the game. This came just weeks after Bech’s brother was killed in the terror attack on New Year’s Day in New Orleans, LA.

2025 Senior Bowl Winners & Losers

As a reminder, the Senior Bowl has specific rules, including the number of players who can rush the passer and no extra points.

Each team had a trick play, with former Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon and former UCF running back RJ Harvey both throwing touchdowns.

There were several big-time plays, including a flea-flicker that resulted in a downfield completion from former Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart to Bech and Tyler Elgersma, a Canadian native from Laurier, completing a 40+-yard pass to former Illinois wide receiver Pat Bryant.

With this game in mind and the multiple practice days leading up to it, let’s look at two winners and one loser who played in the game.

Winner: Elijah Arroyo (TE – Miami)

Leading up to the actual Senior Bowl game, Elijah Arroyo showed all week long he’ll be a problem at the NFL level. He showed he’s arguably the best route-runner at the tight end position.

He’s not the greatest blocker in the world, especially in the running game, but he’ll be an excellent red-zone threat.

That was on display in the game when he went up for a catch on a two-point conversion from former Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel.

His status as a top-50 player is cemented now, despite only one year of meaningful production at Miami.

Loser: Jalen Milroe (QB – Alabama)

Let’s start with the positives: Jalen Milroe is an electric runner who throws a pretty deep ball.

As for the negatives, there are still issues with his intermediate or “singles and doubles” throws.

He did improve throughout the week, but he still needs to work on putting touch on passes and not throwing fastballs all the time.

We also learned he has a less-than-ideal hand size — 8 3/4 inches.

This could be contributing to those accuracy issues.

Milroe still has plenty of tools, but I’d be pretty stunned if he were a first-round pick.

Winner: Jack Bech (WR – TCU)

Not only did Jack Bech catch the game-winning touchdown, but he also had six catches for nearly 70 yards.

He’s got good size at 6-foot-1 and 214 pounds and was super impressive in one-on-one drills.

As mentioned, he was on the receiving end of a flea flicker from Jaxson Dart. He had to go up and over the defensive back to get the ball.

Don’t be shocked to see Bech come off the board within the first five picks or so of the second round, if not sooner.
