Sam Darnold not expected to be franchise-tagged
Vikings QB Sam Darnold is unlikely to be franchise tagged ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.

This has been the expectation for the past few weeks. Darnold will test free agency coming off his big season in Minnesota. He has been linked to a number of teams, including the Raiders and Giants.

The Jets have informed WR Davante Adams they intend to cut him in the coming days.
