View More NotesIf you're streaming quarterbacks this season and looking to cover yourself for the next two weeks (and aren't into Malik Willis), Sam Darnold should be on your radar.
By no means is Darnold having a banner season. He's averaging 215 passing yards a game, with eight TD passes and eight interceptions in six starts. Only once this season has Darnold scored more than 15 fantasy points in a game. Darnold is coming off a mediocre performance against the Bears in which he completed 17-of-34 passes for 188 yards with two TD passes and one intrerception.
But Darnold gets a primo Week 9 matchup against the Cardinals, who entered Week 8 having allowed 22.7 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, second-most in the league. Over their first seven games, the Cardinals gave up 17 TD passes and 243.7 passing yards per game while yielding 8.5 yards per pass attempt.
In Week 10, Darnold gets a road game against the Raiders, who entered Week 8 having allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game (20.8) to QBs.
