Michael Mayer: Raiders exploring trade options
The Raiders are actively looking to trade TE Michael Mayer, according to league sources. Drafted 35th overall in 2023 out of Notre Dame, Mayer posted 27 catches for 304 yards and two touchdowns as a rookie. His role shrank in 2024 after Las Vegas picked Brock Bowers in the first round, limiting Mayer to 11 games and a stat line of 21 receptions for 156 yards with no scores. Now, just two years into his tenure, the Raiders seem ready to move on, signaling a shift toward Bowers as their tight end of the future.
Fantasy Impact
Mayer’s sophomore slump-156 yards, no TDs-tanked his fantasy relevance, especially with Bowers eating into his snaps. A trade could breathe new life into his outlook if he lands with a TE-friendly offense, but his 2024 usage suggests a low floor until proven otherwise. For now, he’s a deep-league flier at best; dynasty owners might hold for a post-trade bump. Bowers stays the Raiders’ TE to watch, while Mayer’s next stop will dictate his 2025 value-keep tabs on the rumor mill.

Davante Adams: Jets taking calls on veteran WR
The Jets are reportedly taking calls on Davante Adams.

This has been the expectation as the Jets can save nearly $29.888 million of Adams’ $38.25 million 2025 salary by either trading or releasing him before June 1st. It is possible that where Aaron Rodgers lands could play a role in where Adams ends up. He had also been linked to the Rams, Chargers and 49ers earlier this offseason.

DK Metcalf: Packers have ‘offer on the table’
Seahawks reporter Corbin K. Smith said that the Packers have an offer on the table that includes a high pick and a young receiver on roster to acquire DK Metcalf.
Fantasy Impact
Metcalf has been in the middle of trade rumors dating back to last season. It still feels that a trade is not likely, but it’s at least a situation worth monitoring. The Packers could be looking to acquire a true No. 1 wide receiver this offseason.
