View More NotesBrock Bowers has been discussed as "day-to-day" to the media after a meniscus trim sidelined him for Week 1. I doubt that he will suit up for Week 2 after opening as a DNP on Wednesday, but we'll have to see. I'll update this situation on Friday.

To no surprise, Bowers missed another practice on Thursday, which makes it highly likely that he will be sidelined for Sunday's game against the Chargers. Assuming he is ruled out for that matchup, fantasy managers should look for Michael Mayer to see more opportunities in Week 2 as a result of his absence.
