Full Top 150 Prospect Rankings:
Note: Rookie status is determined by 130 ABs, or 50 IPs at the Major League level. All stats as of mid-Saturday, 5/11/2025.
MLB Hitters:
- 1B Nick Kurtz (Athletics)
2024 College: .306/.531/.763 | 34 XBH, 22 HR, 4 SB
2024 A/AA: .368/.520/.763 | 24 BB%, 20 K% | 7 XBH, 4 HR, 1 SB
2025 AAA: .321/.385/.655 | 10.3 BB%, 26.8 K% | 14 XHB, 7 HR, 0 SB
This Week: 6/17 (3 BBs) | 2 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
Age: 22
ETA: Early 2025
fScores: 106 fContact, 129 fDiscipline, 115 fPower, 86 fSpeed
Comp: Joey Votto-esk profile
Prime Skills: Big time plate skills with above average power and a very solid hit tool. Think Kyle Manzardo with more power and a higher ceiling on the hit tool. He was a beast in his limited debut and returned in the Arizona Fall League from a hamstring injury.
Player Notes: Nick Kurtz is starting to come around – don’t give up on him this quick.
- C/1B Agustin Ramirez (Marlins)
2024 AA/AAA: .267/.358/.487 | 11.1 BB%, 18.6 K% | 53 XBH, 25 HR, 22 SB
2025 MLB: .258/.292/.581 | 4.6 BB%, 20 K% | 12 XHB, 4 HR, 1 SB
This Week: 6/23 | 4 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
Age: 22
ETA: Early 2025
fScores: 91 fContact, 103 fDiscipline, 93 fPower, 130 fSpeed
Comp: Gary Sanchez with speed
Prime Skills: Big time power swing with some sneaky speed, but a questionable hit tool. He’s posted EVs up to 111 in Miami with increased average velos in the low 90s. He hit a bump in AAA with the Yankees, but figured it out in his last 20 AAA games with a .286/.383/.486 slash with 3 bombs and 2 steals.
Player Notes: Ramirez continues to be a barrage of power for a pretty fun Marlins lineup.
- SS Jacob Wilson (Athletics)
2024 AA/AAA: .433/.473/.668 | 6.2 BB%, 6.6 K% | 35 XBH, 7 HR, 2 SB (53 games)
2024 MLB: .250/.314/.315 | 7.8 BB%, 9.7 K% | 4 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB (28 games)
2025 MLB: .358/.386/.477 | 4.4 BB%, 5 K% | 12 XHB, 3 HR, 2 SB
This Week: 13/26 | 3 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
Age: 23
ETA: Opening Day (Debuted in 2024)
fScores: 106 fContact, 114 fDiscipline, 60 fPower, 77 fSpeed
Comp: More athletic Luis Arraez
Prime Skills: Wilson was a first rounder last year and has gotten the bump to AAA after decimating AA pitchers. He’s been a doubles machine, it almost looks like he’s been at batting practice since the draft because he’s been generating so many hits. I thought the pick was a reach when the Athletics drafted him, but he’s moving quickly and is hitting at every level.
Player Notes: Jacob Wilson has been ridiculous this season and is likely in the lead for AL rookie of the year.
- 1B / 3B Zach Dezenzo (Astros)
2024 CPX/AA/AAA: .299/.385/.492 | 11.5 BB%, 22.6 K% | 24 XBH, 7 HR, 5 SB (52 games)
2024 MLB: .242/.277/.371 | 4.6 BB%, 33.8 K% | 4 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
2025 MLB: .267/.333/.400 | 9.1 BB%, 28.8 K% | 6 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
This Week: 5/17 | 3 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
Age: 25
ETA: Opening Day (debuted in 2024)
fScores: 96 fContact, 92 fDiscipline, 98 fPower, 103 fSpeed
Comp: A bigger, more athletic Chas McCormick – ceiling would be Adolis-light type stats.
Prime Skills: Power / speed guy who has to work on his hit tool (75% Z-Contact% in his debut), but can take a walk and will excel against fastballs with above average EVs. Needs to work on reducing the K rate.
Player Notes: Dezenzo is looking pretty good now that he’s getting full-time playing time.
MLB Pitchers:
- SP Cade Horton (Cubs)
2024 AA/AAA: 34 ⅓ IP | 18.9 K-BB%, 15.3 SwStr%, 29 CSW% | 4.46 ERA, 1.25 WHIP
2025 AAA: 29 IP | 18.5 K-BB%, 31.8 CSW% | 1.24 ERA, 0.86 WHIP
This Week: 4 IP | 5 Ks, 0 BBs | 6.75 ERA, 1.00 WHIP
Age: 22
ETA: Early 2025
fScores: 93 fStuff, 96 fControl, 100 fERA
Comp: Hunter Brown with control and a third pitch
Prime Skills: Dude looks like a righty Jon Lester throwing 98 MPH darts and has a nasty curve. He has shown insane command with three plus pitches between the fastball, slider and curve and should be moving pretty quickly next season due to his well above average command.
Player Notes: Horton was primarily fastball and slider in his debut generating an 18.5 SwStr% on the slider as the 96 mph fastball was getting hit around a bit.
- SP AJ Smith-Shawver (Braves):
2024 AAA: 89 IP | 18.3 K-BB%, 14.2 SwStr%, 29.5 CSW% | 5.85 ERA, 1.24 WHIP
2024 MLB: 4 ⅓ IP | 11.1 K-BB%, 10.3 SwStr%, 24.1 CSW% | 4.62 SIERA, 1.15 WHIP
2025 MLB: 32 ⅔ IP | 13.8 K-BB%, 28.5 CSW% | 2.76 ERA, 1.35 WHIP
This Week: 13 2/3 IP | 12 Ks, 6 BBs | 0.66 ERA, 0.88 WHIP
Age: 22
ETA: Early 2025 (debuted in 2023)
fScores: 97 fStuff, 91 fControl, 100 fERA
Comp: Giovanny Gallegos as a starter
Prime Skills: A super over the top arm slot that he repeats really well makes it difficult to pick up on what pitch is coming out of his hand. He throws heat (hits 99 MPH) and the arm slot makes it come on even faster. His curve is his best pitch and he might be better working in a slider to counter the curve and change up since he’s so vertical.
Player Notes: Don’t get too excited, he had a .176 BABIP against this week and gave up a near 53% hard hit rate, but he’s definitely better than last year.
AAA Hitters:
- SS Carson Williams (Rays)
2024 AA: .256/.352/.469 | 11.5 BB%, 28.5 K% | 46 XBH, 20 HR, 33 SB
2025 AAA: .181/.301/.379 | 14 BB%, 41.2 K% | 11 XHB, 5 HR, 7 SB
This Week: 4/17 | 4 XBH, 2 HR, 3 SB
Age: 22
ETA: Mid 2025
fScores: 86 fContact, 91 fDiscipline, 100 fPower, 133 fSpeed
Comp: Trevor Story outside of Coors w/ better defense
Prime Skills: Power, speed, OK-plate skills the only thing this kid is missing right now is the hit tool. He’s young enough that he can develop the hit tool on his rise up the minors. He has quick hands and changed his stance from a slight crouch to be more upright since last year, but those Ks need to go down for him to reach his potential as a 20/20 type with a good walk rate in the majors.
Player Notes: Williams has been pretty atrocious with the hit tool this season, rocking a 55% contact rate – but at least he’s still showing the power and speed tools.
- OF Colby Thomas (Athletics)
2024 AA/AAA: .277/.342/.563 | 7 BB%, 24.7 K% | 80 XBH, 31 HR, 54 SB
2025 AAA: .290/.350/.538 | 6.3 BB%, 18.1 K% | 19 XHB, 8 HR, 2 SB
This Week: 5/24 | 4 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
Age: 24
ETA: Early 2025
fScores: 95 fContact, 58 fDiscipline, 124 fPower, 106 fSpeed
Comp: Taylor Ward and Adolis Garcia mash
Prime Skills: Thomas has all fields power and does a great job of shooting the ball through the gaps and has an over 27% line drive rate this year. He has an open stance with hands up, loaded pre-pitch. He’s an extra base hit machine and may run into some strikeout issues with a below average hit tool (only 78.4% in zone contact), but he’s aggressive in the zone (near 80% zone swing rate) and runs an optimal batted ball profile with a killer sweet spot percentage.
Player Notes: Thomas has actually improved his contact rate this season from the last and is hitting the ball harder as well, he just needs to work on cutting down the strikeout rate.
- OF Justin Crawford (Phillies)
2024 A+/AA: .313/.360/.444 | 6.4 BB%, 18.7 K% | 38 XBH, 9 HR, 42 SB (110 games)
2025 AAA: .321/.390/.409 | 10.4 BB%, 20.1 K% | 10 XHB, 0 HR, 12 SB
This Week: 9/21 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 3 SB
Age: 21
ETA: Early 2026
fScores: N/A
Comp: Carl Crawford w/ less power (Taller Juan Pierre perhaps?)
Prime Skills: Speed, lightning speed like his dad. The hit tool is developing and the plate skills are improving and now we are getting 10-15 homer power to go along with the rest of the tools.
Player Notes: Crawford is showing a great hit tool with speed, but the power has not come along with a 55% groundball rate this season.
- SS Cole Young (Mariners)
2024 AA: .271/.369/.390 | 12.1 BB%, 15.8 K% | 36 XBH, 9 HR, 23 SB
2025 AAA: .321/.390/.409 | 10.4 BB%, 20.1 K% | 10 XHB, 0 HR, 12 SB
This Week: 10/23 | 3 XBH, 1 HR, 3 SB
Age: 21
ETA: Late 2025
fScores: 95 fContact, 121 fDiscipline, 66 fPower, 110 fSpeed
Comp: Jackson Holliday light meets Geraldo Perdomo skillset
Prime Skills: Young has a good hit tool to go along with great plate skills, especially for a player his age and as a 20-year-old in AA last season. The speed is good, but not great. He has quick hands and is starting to hit the ball in the air more as he moves up each level. He’s going to be a winner in points leagues.
Player Notes: Young has played young for the level throughout his entire career. He’s rocking an 84% contact rate and has always had a good hit tool with good plate skills, which is good for points leagues – but will enough power and speed develop for categories leagues?
3B Otto Kemp (Phillies):
2025 AAA: .331/.430/.648 | 9.9 BB%, 26.7 K% | 25 XHB, 10 HR, 6 SB
This Week: 8/27 | 3 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
Notes: Kemp keeps mashing and could find his way up on the big league club if Bohm continues to struggle.
OF Jud Fabian (Orioles):
Season: .212/.339/.441 | 14.9 BB% / 24.8 K% | 11 XBH, 8 HR, 1 SB
This Week: 7/17 | 2 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
Notes: Fabian has been boom or bust this year with a below average 67% contact rate, but the power has been there.
OF Carson McCusker (Twins):
Season: .336/.405/.646 | 8.7 BB% / 29.9 K% | 17 XBH, 9 HR, 2 SB
This Week: 9/24 | 4 XBH, 2 HR, 2 SB
Notes: McCusker is not one I would traditionally write into these articles since he’s almost 27-years-old, but the huge 6’ 8” OF didn’t debut in the minors until 2023 and has been good every step of the way with a near 95 average EV on the season.
2B Max Muncy (Athletics):
Season (AAA): .344/.386/.594 | 4.3 BB% / 22.9 K% | 10 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
This Week: 8/26 | 5 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
Notes: Muncy had a rough debut out of camp, but is raking now once he came back to AAA.
AAA Pitchers:
- SP Zebby Matthews (Twins)
2024 A+/AA/AAA: 97 IP | 28.6 K-BB%, 14.2 SwStr%, 29.9 CSW% | 2.60 ERA, 0.87 WHIP
2024 MLB: 37 ⅔ IP | 18.1 K-BB%, 11.3 SwStr%, 26.2 CSW% | 6.69 ERA, 1.65 WHIP
2025 Season: 24 IP | 11.7 K-BB%, 10.5 SwStr%, 27.7 CSW% | 4.13 ERA, 1.38 WHIP
This Week: 9 1/3 IP (2 starts) | 9 Ks, 2 BBs | 1.93 ERA, 1.50 WHIP
Age: 25
ETA: Opening Day (debuted in 2024)
fScores: 103 fStuff, 122 fControl, 112 fERA
Comp: Zach Eflin outcome with a better fastball
Prime Skills: He’s a big righty at 6’5 225 lbs out of Western Carolina. His curve is his best weapon, though he has a decent heater that plays better up in the zone. The control is his best attribute as the dude has only walked 18 hitters on the entire season.
Player Notes: We are obviously to a point where the Twins are limiting the innings of David Festa and Zebby Matthews, because they know they will need them later in the year after they likely trade one of Pablo Lopez or Joe Ryan and Paddack is moved out of the rotation.
- SP Jacob Misiorowski (Brewers)
2024 AA: 97 1/3 IP | 16.1 K-BB%, 14.1 SwStr%, 30.7 CSW% | 3.33 ERA, 1.20 WHIP
2025 Season: 42 1/3 IP | 22.3 K-BB%, 13.8 SwStr%, 30.4 CSW% | 1.49 ERA, 0.92 WHIP
This Week: 6 2/3 IP | 11 Ks, 1 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.45 WHIP
Age: 23
Comp: Young Tyler Glasnow with worse control
ETA: Early 2025
fScores: 108 fStuff, 88 fControl, 135 fERA (as a starter)
Prime Skills: Killer fastball, he throws it 101 and it’s at an odd arm angle, so it’s difficult to pick up with an elite slider in his pocket as well. He’s had some control issues, especially as a starter, but once he shifted to the pen in AAA – he became a beast.
Player Notes: The transformation of Misioroski has been awesome, though he still has his bad starts – he is built up nicely and throwing way more strikes, however it would be ideal for that walk rate to drop below 8%.
- SP Logan Henderson (Brewers)
2024 CPX/A+/AA/AAA: 81 1/3 IP | 28.1 K-BB%, 15 SwStr%, 31.6 CSW% | 3.32 ERA, 0.91 WHIP
2025 Season (AAA): 30 IP | 25.2 K-BB%, 15.8 SwStr%, 30.8 CSW% | 2.40 ERA, 0.97 WHIP
This Week: 4 IP | 5 Ks, 0 BBs | 2.25 ERA, 1.00 WHIP
Age: 23
ETA: Mid 2025
fScores: 105 fStuff, 106 fControl, 110 fERA
Comp: Spencer Strider-light (dude has some quads) and really ramps up
Prime Skills: Henderson is of slight build (5’ 11”) and has jumped up a couple levels already this season after destroying at low A most of last season. He has excellent command and a nice fastball / changeup combo. The fastball runs 94-96 MPH and the change up is one of the better change ups in the minors.
Player Notes: Henderson might get promoted after the demotion of Tobias Meyers, it’s either a Henderson promotion or the return of Brandon Woodruff incoming.
- SP Parker Messick (Guardians)
2024 A+/AA: 133 2/3 IP | 22.1 K-BB%, 16 SwStr%, 30.6 CSW% | 2.83 ERA, 1.14 WHIP
2025 Season: 32 2/3 IP | 23.9 K-BB%, 16.5 SwStr%, 31 CSW% | 2.76 ERA, 1.19 WHIP
This Week: 10 1/3 IP (2 starts) | 18 Ks, 5 BBs | 1.74 ERA, 1.16 WHIP
Age: 23
ETA: Mid 2025
fScores: 93 Stuff, 99 fControl, 132 fERA
Comp: Framber Valdez / lefty Sonny Gray light
Prime Skills: Shorter heavy set lefty who is a classic Guardians command guy who is breaking ball heavy and a former second rounder out of FSU. He’s very sweeper heavy, it’s a killer pitch, but I’d like to see him generate more GBs so he gets more toward the Framber Valdez pendulum than Andrew Abbott.
Player Notes: Messick is seeing an uptick in stuff this season with slightly worse command. Logan Allen has been pretty bad, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Messick get a shot before the end of May.
- SP Carson Whisenhunt (Giants)
2024 AAA: 109 2/3 IP | 17.1 K-BB%, 15.3 SwStr%, 29.5 CSW% | 5.17 ERA, 1.58 WHIP
2025 Season: 37 IP | 20.9 K-BB%, 13.8 SwStr%, 29.8 CSW% | 4.14 ERA, 1.22 WHIP
This Week: 7 IP | 7 Ks, 1 BBs | 2.57 ERA, 1.14 WHIP
Age: 23
ETA: Early 2025
fScores: 103 fStuff, 90 fControl, 108 fERA
Comp: A plus version of Braxton Garrett or lefty Brandon Pfaadt
Prime Skills: He has a super slurvy-like curve and possibly the best change up in the minors, but he’s playing these against a below average fastball. Whisenhunt missed basically all of the second half in 2023 and was thrown to the wolves in the PCL in 2024, so his damage stats shouldn’t be held too much against him.
Player Notes: Whisenhunt has shown some impeccable command to start the year, but his issue has been homers in the PCL which has continued from last year and shouldn’t really be held against him.
- SP Ian Seymour (Rays)
2024 AA/AAA: 145 1/3 IP | 21 K-BB%, 15.2 SwStr%, 29 CSW% | 2.35 ERA, 0.95 WHIP
2025 Season: 41 1/3 IP | 26.6 K-BB%, 17.8 SwStr%, 30.8 CSW% | 1.96 ERA, 1.09 WHIP
This Week: 10 IP (2 starts) | 17 Ks, 2 BBs | 1.80 ERA, 1.10 WHIP
Age: 26
ETA: Early/Mid 2025
fScores: 101 fStuff, 97 fControl, 125 ERA
Comp: Nestor Cortes
Prime Skills: Seymour has a low 90s fastball with good ride, a four pitch mix and a really nice change up. Command, lack of high velocity and injuries have held him back to date, but at this point the Rays should have him on the short list for a call up. He had reached AAA in 2021 before needing Tommy John and since has been performing very well, but has yet to reach the majors.
Player Notes: Seymour should be next man up when the Rays next need an SP.
SP Mick Abel (Phillies)
2025 Season: 46 1/3 IP | 16.7 K-BB%, 13.2 SwStr%, 28.7 CSW% | 2.53 ERA, 1.21 WHIP
This Week: 12 IP (2 starts) | 15 Ks, 6 BBs | 1.50 ERA, 1.08 WHIP
Notes: Abel is still only 23-years-old, one can hope this is the year he finally figures it out with much better command and better velocity this season.
SP Nolan McLean (Mets)
2025 Season: 33 1/3 IP | 18.8 K-BB%, 13.8 SwStr%, 29.5 CSW% | 1.08 ERA, 1.17 WHIP
This Week: 7 IP | 7 Ks, 0 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP
Notes: McLean is one of those guys who will be a big mover on my prospect rankings update. He had a very nice AAA debut this week.
SP Michael McGreevy (Cardinals)
2025 Season (AAA): 33 2/3 IP | 19 K-BB%, 10.7 SwStr%, 28.4 CSW% | 3.74 ERA, 1.28 WHIP
This Week: 5 IP | 9 Ks, 1 BBs | 1.80 ERA, 1.20 WHIP
Notes: McGreevy should not be in AAA, he was great for the Cardinals at the end of last season and also had a very nice outing last week in the majors. He hit new velocity highs this week averaging 95 mph on the fastball and is a control artist type pitcher.
SP Luisander Avila (Royals)
2025 Season: 35 IP | 19 K-BB%, 13 SwStr%, 29.6 CSW% | 4.11 ERA, 1.09 WHIP
This Week: 7 IP | 8 Ks, 0 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.29 WHIP
Notes: Avila has taken a step forward this year, but is an odd duck with a curve as his primary pitch.
SP Miguel Ullola (Astros)
2025 Season: 20 IP | 17.9 K-BB%, 14.1 SwStr%, 29.6 CSW% | 4.50 ERA, 1.15 WHIP
This Week: 5 IP | 10 Ks, 1 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.40 WHIP
Notes: Ullola always has had good stuff, but is super wild. The question when he gets to the majors will be if he can reign in the control enough to be an effective starter.
AA Hitters:
- 2B Travis Bazzana (Guardians)
2024 College: .407/.568/.911 | 48 XBH, 28 HR, 16 SB
2024 A+: .238/.369/.396 | 13.9 BB%, 25.4 K% | 10 XBH, 3 HR, 5 SB (27 games)
2025 Season: .256/.348/.438 | 10.1 BB%, 27.5 K% | 11 XBH, 4 HR, 6 SB
This Week: 9/24 | 3 XBH, 1 HR, 3 SB
Age: 22
ETA: Mid 2025 (June / July)
fScores: 93 fContact, 122 fDiscipline, 93 fPower, 155 fSpeed
Comp: Daniel Murphy with more athleticism and quickness
Prime Skills: Bazzana has the killer Oregon State hit tool and has professional experience already with wood bats, playing in Australia as a pro while he was a teenager. He has power and speed, but to what degree will both show up as a pro is the big question to me, as the game power just appeared in 2024 and is relatively a newer tool. He has a lot of movement pre-pitch at the plate
Player Notes: Nice to see Bazzana making some noise this week.
- 1B Jac Caglianone (Royals)
2024 College: .419/.544/.875 | 43 XBH, 35 HR, 4 SB
2024 A+: .241/.302/.388 | 5.6 BB%, 20.6 K% | 12 XBH, 2 HR, 2 SB (29 games)
2025 Season: .323/.396/.589 | 11.2 BB%, 22.9 K% | 15 XBH, 9 HR, 1 SB
This Week: 9/23 | 4 XBH, 4 HR, 0 SB
Age: 22
fScores: N/A
Comp: Matt Olson
Prime Skills: Massive power potential, so much so that he only hit 8 doubles in college. Cags could get some reps pitching, but it’s highly doubtful unless they try him as a RP / 1B perhaps. He showed off some nice power in the Arizona Fall League (5 bombs with 4 doubles and 21 RBI), but there are some obvious holes in the swing right now he needs to correct. It should be noted Caglione actually had superior plate skills to Condon in college.
Player Notes: Cags is too good for AA and might even be ready for the majors based on how performance this season.
- 3B Brock Wilken (Brewers)
2024 AA: .200/.314/.365 | 13.3 BB%, 28 K% | 33 XBH, 17 HR, 1 SB
2025 Season: .214/.418/.485 | 24.1 BB%, 27 K% | 14 XBH, 7 HR, 1 SB
This Week: 5/20 | 4 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
Age: 22
ETA: Early 2025
fScores: 80 fContact, 112 fDiscipline, 99 fPower, 71 fSpeed
Comp: Righty Max Muncy
Prime Skills: This dude has massive power, but the question is if the hit tool can be average enough to allow him to mash 30-40 homers.
Player Notes: Wilken is starting to heat up – keep an eye on the increase in his batting average.
OF Hector Rodriguez (Reds):
Season: .339/.405/.532 | 9.1 BB% / 14 K% | 11 XBH, 4 HR, 4 SB
This Week: 6/22 | 4 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
Notes: He’s a heavy platoon guy, but he’s aggressive in the zone and destroying righties – making this list for the second week in a row.
2B Robert Moore (Phillies):
Season: .288/.411/.562 | 17.6 BB% / 22 K% | 10 XBH, 5 HR, 3 SB
This Week: 8/18 (5 BBs) | 6 XBH, 2 HR, 1 SB
Notes: Moore is making similar strides to Otto Kemp up in AAA as the Phillies seem to have stepped up their hitting development this season.
SS Mikey Romero (Red Sox):
Season: .280/.368/.530 | 11.3 BB% / 27 K% | 13 XBH, 5 HR, 3 SB
This Week: 8/22 | 4 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
Notes: Romero has hit this list for the third time this season now as he keeps raking and will likely hit my Top 150 in the next update.
OF R.J. Schreck (Blue Jays):
Season: .258/.372/.530 | 11.5 BB% / 26.9 K% | 9 XBH, 4 HR, 1 SB
This Week: 8/21 | 6 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
Notes: Schreck got the season off to a tough start, but absolutely killed it this week and is looking to motor forward after a solid Connor Norby-ish 2024. We need to see some gains in the contact department.
3B Ryan Gelanie (White Sox):
Season: .328/.371/.580 | 6.3 BB% / 14 K% | 19 XBH, 6 HR, 2 SB
This Week: 9/21 | 4 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
Notes: Gelanie started the season in high A and this was his first week in AA, which was a good one.
OF Kristian Robinson (Diamondbacks):
Season: .294/.432/.598 | 18.2 BB% / 28.8 K% | 15 XBH, 7 HR, 10 SB
This Week: 5/14 | 2 XBH, 2 HR, 6 SB
Notes: Robinson has more or less been of the prospect radar for about two years now after some off field troubles, but he might be back now and is still only 24-years-old.
AA Pitchers:

fScores: 113 fStuff, 98 fControl, 101 fERA
Comp: Hunter Greene / Dylan Cease mash up
Prime Skills: Insane fastball / slider combo that could be one of the best in baseball. He’s bigger than some of the other guys with this type of fastball / slider combo like Jones and Strider and could also just be a better version of Jared Jones.
Player Notes: I mentioned on my podcast last week that I would probably rank Chase Burns over Andrew Painter at this point.
- SP Connor Prielipp (Twins)
2024 CPX/A/A+: 23 1/3 IP | 37.4 K-BB%, 24.2 SwStr%, 38.2 CSW% | 2.70 ERA, 0.90 WHIP
2025 Season: 17 ⅓ IP | 28.2 K-BB%, 15.1 SwStr%, 32.1 CSW% | 3.63 ERA, 1.15 WHIP
This Week: 4 IP | 6 Ks, 0 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.75 WHIP
Age: 24
ETA: Early 2026
fScores: N/A
Comp: Shades of Johan Santana
Prime Skills: Prielipp is a big lefty with deception in the delivery at a ¾ arm slot. He was a second rounder in 2022 even coming off an injury and might have been the top pick if he hadn’t been hurt. He hovers around 94-96 MPH on the fastball and has an incredibly sick slider with an average-ish change up.
Player Notes: Prielipp continues to build up and is getting close to a normal workload coming off the TJ still from last year.
- SP Jonah Tong (Mets)
2024 A/A+/AA: 113 IP | 24.1 K-BB%, 14.9 SwStr%, 31.1 CSW% | 3.03 ERA, 1.17 WHIP
2025 Season: 28 IP | 32.5 K-BB%, 18.3 SwStr%, 35.9 CSW% | 2.57 ERA, 1.07 WHIP

Comp: Jared Jones light
Prime Skills: Killer IVB on a mid 90s fastball (hitting 95-96 MPH now) and a big curve that drops right in on hitters. He had some big time velo increase this year and we are seeing a decrease in command as he has moved up levels.
Player Notes: The Mets are doing something right when it comes to pitching development. Tong has really harnessed his command this year.
SP Jean Cabrera (Phillies)
2025 Season: 31 IP | 6.9 K-BB%, 11.9 SwStr%, 27.5 CSW% | 3.19 ERA, 1.32 WHIP
This Week: 6 IP | 8 Ks, 2 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP
Notes: Cabrera was pretty good last year, but has had a rough season until this start in 2025.
SP Gabriel Hughes (Rockies)
2025 Season: 26 2/3 IP | 17.8 K-BB%, 11.1 SwStr%, 31 CSW% | 2.36 ERA, 0.86 WHIP
This Week: 5 IP | 7 Ks, 2 BBs | 3.60 ERA, 0.80 WHIP
Notes: Hughes is coming off TJ surgery and is another of this new crop of Rockies pitching prospects that have shown good stuff in the minors, but pitching in Coors is a whole different ball game.
SP Braxton Bragg (Orioles)
2025 Season: 29 2/3 IP | 25.6 K-BB%, 15.3 SwStr%, 31.5 CSW% | 0.61 ERA, 0.91 WHIP
This Week: 5 IP | 8 Ks, 1 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.80 WHIP
Notes: Bragg has had a very strong season for the Orioles and without statcast data, it’s hard to pin-point the exact gains in his stuff, but he is getting ahead in the count a lot more.
SP Mitch Bratt (Rangers)
2025 Season: 31 2/3 IP | 26.8 K-BB%, 13.3 SwStr%, 33.3 CSW% | 4.13 ERA, 1.38 WHIP
This Week: 6 IP | 10 Ks, 1 BBs (1 hit) | 0.00 ERA, 0.33 WHIP
Notes: Bratt has shown elite command all season after struggling in his first run at AA at the end of last season.
SP Ixan Henderson (Cardinals)
2025 Season: 25 1/3 IP | 25.2 K-BB%, 11.3 SwStr%, 31.8 CSW% | 2.13 ERA, 1.11 WHIP
This Week: 6 IP | 8 Ks, 0 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.50 WHIP
Notes: Henderson has a 96 mph fastball from the left side with much better IVB than we saw last season along with a killer curve that gets most of the swings and misses. Pairing this with elite command has turned him into a nice prospect.
A+ Hitters:

Comp: Corbin Carroll
Prime Skills: Multi-sport athlete; has a really nice hit tool, a lot of speed and should develop more power as he ages. He’s likely to develop more into a speed first, 15-20 homer type based on the small sample size of what we have seen in the minors and pre-draft. The plate skills are also much better than when you look at first glance as he has a near elite 8.5 SwStr% and only a 22% chase rate on the year at low A.
Player Notes: Clark has shown an elite hit tool and plate approach, but I would think to see more power and speed out of the talented top prospect.
- OF Josue de Paula (Dodgers)

Prime Skills: Big kid has a body that power can grow into with a solid hit tool, great plate skills and none zero speed. The contact skills are very good as well for his age without many holes in the swing. The power should develop further as he grows into his big 6’ 3” frame.
Player Notes: de Paula has gotten even better this season – I would love to see a promotion to AA soon.
- 2B / SS Michael Arroyo (Mariners)

Prime Skills: Short swinging stocky athlete with quick hands and a ton of power in his fire hydrant frame along with some speed. He has a good plate approach and above average contact tool, which led to the 2024 breakout.
Player Notes: Arroyo got off to a slow start, but the last 2-3 weeks has been much better this year.
- OF Jonny Farmelo (Mariners)
2024 A: .264/.398/.421 | 16.3 BB%, 23.5 K% | 17 XBH, 4 HR, 18 SB (46 games)

Prime Skills: Big long levered lefty with some big time power / speed potential with quick back speed. He tends to coil up as the pitch is coming in and unleashes to make some nice driving contact that I think will lead to a big doubles profile.
Player Notes: Farmelo has 4 bombs in only 7 games this season so far.
- OF Braden Montgomery (White Sox)

Prime Skills: Athletic, switch hitting power hitter. He has an arm as a former pitcher as well and a quick, short swing where he gets to the ball no matter where it’s thrown.
Player Notes: Up to high A and still raking, he will probably be in AA by the All Star Break.
- OF Caron Benge (Mets)

Comp: Colton Cowser, but a bit more open of a stance
Prime Skills: Benge is an athletic OF who was a two-way player in college and hits to all fields. He’s raw since he’s transitioning from being a two-way player, but there’s a lot of upside to open up now that he’s only focusing on hitting.
Player Notes: The Mets first rounder started breaking out last week and continues forward with another strong week.
- C Blake Mitchell (Royals)
2024 A/A+: .232/.368/.424 | 16.5 BB%, 30.7 K% | 37 XBH, 18 HR, 26 SB

fScores: N/A
Comp: Austin Wells with speed
Prime Skills: Mitchell was the eighth overall pick in 2024. He’s been an absolute wrecking ball in A ball this year with the big questions being the hit tool, too many strikeouts and the fact he’s still in A ball at 20-years-old.
Player Notes:
3B Mac Horvath (Rays):
Season: .250/.358/.403 | 14.2 BB% / 25 K% | 11 XBH, 7 HR, 8 SB
This Week: 6/26 | 5 XBH, 3 HR, 2 SB
Notes: Horvath is still striking out way too much, but it’s good to see some of the power coming around to meet the walk rate. He looks like Brayden Taylor junior so far this year.
.
C Omar Martinez (Yankees):
Season: .276/.379/.467 | 13.7 BB% / 29.8 K% | 10 XBH, 5 HR, 1 SB
This Week: 8/19 | 5 XBH, 4 HR, 0 SB
Notes: Martinez is older for the level as a repeat at 23 and should get a promotion after a week like this if the power increase continues.
OF Tai Peete (Rays):
Season: .256/.299/.448 | 5.2 BB% / 38.1 K% | 15 XBH, 4 HR, 6 SB
This Week: 8/26 | 4 XBH, 1 HR, 2 SB
Notes: The tools have been there for Peete, however the plate skills have been terrible this year.
SS Demetrio Crisantes (Diamondbacks):
Season: .270/.371/.443 | 13.6 BB% / 12.9 K% | 12 XBH, 4 HR, 6 SB
This Week: 7/22 | 3 XBH, 2 HR, 3 SB
Notes: The uptick in power and speed from Crisantes this season is going to boost him into my top 150 rankings next update.
2B Adrian Pinto (Blue Jays):
Season: .284/.376/.608 | 9.4 BB% / 16.5 K% | 10 XBH, 7 HR, 3 SB
This Week: 7/17 | 4 XBH, 3 HR, 2 SB

Comp: Carlos Rodon / Andrew Heaney mash up
Prime Skills: White is a big 6’ 5” lefty who I saw live pitching against Quinn Mathews pitch for pitcher earlier in the season. He throws a 97-99 MPH riding fastball with a killer 87-89 MPH changeup and new 83-84 MPH hard slider.
Player Notes: White’s K-BB is getting dragged down by an uncharacteristic high number of walks that I believe to be an oddity.
SP Gage Jump (Athletics)
2025 Season: 31 IP | 33.1 K-BB%, 16 SwStr%, 34.6 CSW% | 2.32 ERA, 0.84 WHIP
This Week: 8 IP | 8 Ks, 0 BBs | 1.13 ERA, 0.50 WHIP
Notes: Jump is a college lefty drafted in the second round in 2024 with a high 90s fastball fromm the left side with nice ride. He could be a quick riser as the Athletics aren’t super deep at the higher levels with pitching and this is his third consecutive time on this list as he looks to break into my top 100 prospects.
SP Payton Tolle (Red Sox)
2025 Season: N/A
This Week: 10 IP (2 starts) | 17 Ks, 1 BBs | 0.90 ERA, 0.90 WHIP
Notes: Tolle was the Red Sox second round pick last year and he did not pitch in 2024, Tolle is showing that he’s probably too good for high A and will likely be bumped to AA soon.
SP JR Ritchie (Braves)
2025 Season: 41 2/3 IP | 17.8 K-BB%, 12.8 SwStr%, 29.1 CSW% | 1.30 ERA, 0.79 WHIP
This Week: 9 IP | 9 Ks, 1 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.22 WHIP
Notes: Pretty rare to see a complete game shutout in the minors – but Ritchie did it! Get this kid to AA.
SP Alex Clemmey (Nationals)
2025 Season: 30 IP | 11 K-BB%, 10.9 SwStr%, 29.9 CSW% | 4.20 ERA, 1.60 WHIP
This Week: 6 2/3 IP | 9 Ks, 3 BBs | 2.70 ERA, 1.50 WHIP
Notes: The former second rounder has now made this list twice as he continues to bump his prospect stock… pretty much going good start, bad start, good start… living and dying with the command.
SP Ben Hess (Yankees)
2025 Season: 25 IP | 26.2 K-BB%, 13.3 SwStr%, 34 CSW% | 3.24 ERA, 0.96 WHIP
This Week: 6 2/3 IP | 9 Ks, 1 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.30 WHIP
Notes: Hess has made this list three times now this season, watch this first rounder as he climbs the ranks of Yankees pitching prospects.
SP Carlos LaGrange (Yankees)
2025 Season: 24 1/3 IP | 34.3 K-BB%, 18.2 SwStr%, 37.7 CSW% | 3.55 ERA, 0.99 WHIP
This Week: 5 2/3 IP | 9 Ks, 1 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.53 WHIP
Notes: LaGrange has been one of the best pitchers in the minors this season and should move up in short order as a 22-year-old.
SP Eric Yost (Padres)
2025 Season: 23 1/3 IP | 17.6 K-BB%, 10.2 SwStr%, 28.5 CSW% | 1.93 ERA, 1.59 WHIP
This Week: 7 IP | 11 Ks, 0 BBs | 1.29 ERA, 0.86 WHIP
Notes: Killer start for Yost, but a bit uncharacteristic as he has never done this before and I think it’s an aberration.

Prime Skills: Good plate skills with above average power, really quick bat speed and hands and great speed. He could be a five tool guy as long as he can continue to develop the hit tool and hit the ball in the air like he did at complex this year. The power tracked down at A ball, but he was young for the level late in the season and held his own.
Player Notes: Arias has been a beast and I wouldn’t jump Pena and Made ahead of him so fast.
- SS Bryce Rainer (Tigers)
2025 Season: .292/.402/.492 | 15.9 BB%, 19.5 K% | 7 XBH, 3 HR, 3 SB

Prime Skills: Big lefty bat with a nice stroke that should lead to an above average hit tool, he could grow into some nice power and has a little bit of speed. He was also a pitcher and has a killer arm, so should be a prime defender as well.
Player Notes: Konnor Griffin is getting all the attention, but Byrce Rainer has also been very good.
- SS Yoeilin Cespedes (Red Sox)
2025 Season: .247/.293/.438 | 7.1 BB%, 26.3 K% | 11 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB

Prime Skills: Gillen has great timing at the plate, nice load and really gets on pitches with a sweet and powerful lefty swing. He has a nice sized athletic build and should develop into a power / speed threat. He played SS in highschool, but with a weak arm has moved off to the OF.
Player Notes: Gillen had not really done anything all year except walk until this week, let’s see if the tools he showed in high school now begin to translate.

He’s a giant at 6’ 6” with a 44.4% whiff rate in the minors and needs to be up in A+ or AA at this point. Sykora rocks a mid 90s fastball with obviously ridiculous extension due to his size with more run than ride and he also has a devastating 81-83 mph splitter and 85 mph hard slider.
