Must-Have Dynasty Draft Picks to Target (Fantasy Football)
- Superflex format: Early quarterbacks are a must.
- Non-TE premium scoring, but tight ends with elite upside still matter.
- Focus is on youth, breakout potential, and future value, not just win-now options.
Jayden Daniels (Round 1)
Daniels is Bogman’s QB1 overall in dynasty Superflex formats. He offers elite rushing upside, a revamped offensive line, and long-term security. Bogman prefers him over both Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson due to age, athleticism, and the total package.
Drake Maye (Round 2)
Maye could easily be a first-rounder in Superflex formats. He showed flashes as a rookie despite a poor supporting cast and has sneaky rushing upside. Bogman views him as a top-10 overall asset in dynasty and a high-upside building block at QB.
Brock Bowers (Round 3)
Even in non-TE premium formats, Bowers is worth targeting aggressively. Bogman ranks him as a top-20 overall dynasty asset. A generational talent at tight end, Bowers projects as a centerpiece for years to come in Seattle.
J.J. McCarthy (Round 4)
A perfect fallback QB if you miss out on Daniels or Maye early. McCarthy lands in an ideal situation in Minnesota, surrounded by weapons like Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, and coached by Kevin O’Connell. Bogman is cautiously optimistic about his long-term upside.
Jordan Addison (Round 5)
Still just 23, Addison has back-to-back seasons with 9+ touchdowns and should continue producing even alongside Jefferson. Bogman sees him as a steady WR2 who is often overlooked due to his teammate’s star power.
Michael Penix Jr. (Round 6)
Penix may not run much, but his arm talent is elite, and his ability to avoid turnovers and sacks gives him a long leash in Atlanta. If you wait on a QB2 in Superflex, Penix is a perfect target in this range.
Emeka Egbuka (Round 7)
A classic Year 2 breakout candidate. With Mike Evans aging and Chris Godwin recovering from injury, Egbuka could ascend as early as 2026. Bogman believes he has true WR1 potential once the opportunity opens up.
Jayden Reed (Round 8)
This round lacks great options, but Reed is a bright spot. He offers youth, versatility, and emerging chemistry in an evolving Packers offense. A value pick with real upside if he continues to ascend.
Luther Burden (Round 9)
Burden is a slot weapon in Ben Johnson’s offense—a role that has made stars out of players like Amon-Ra St. Brown. Despite the crowded WR room in Chicago, Bogman is betting on the long-term upside.
Tre Harris (Round 10)
While he lacks top-end speed, Harris is physical, dependable, and a great fit with Justin Herbert. If Quentin Johnston continues to struggle, Harris could emerge as a reliable WR2 in the Chargers’ offense.
Keon Coleman (Round 11)
Bogman’s favorite pick of the draft. Coleman didn’t flash as a rookie, but the tools are undeniable: size, contested catch ability, and the trust of Josh Allen in a thin WR corps. Huge red-zone upside in 2025 and beyond.
Zach Charbonnet (Round 12)
Charbonnet thrives in outside zone and offers standalone value with strong after-contact metrics. If Kenneth Walker gets hurt or falters, Charbonnet could explode. A high-upside RB2 or flex stash at a major discount.
Marvin Mims Jr. (Round 13)
Despite limited snaps, Mims flashed elite efficiency late in 2024. Bogman sees him as a dart throw worth taking thanks to Sean Payton’s creative usage and potential for a larger role in Year 2.
Jordan Mason (Round 14)
The Vikings didn’t just trade for Mason—they gave him a two-year deal with real guaranteed money. With Aaron Jones aging and injury-prone, Mason could become the lead back in a zone-heavy scheme that fits his running style perfectly.
Elic Ayomanor (Round 15)
With minimal competition in Tennessee’s WR room outside Calvin Ridley, Ayomanor has an open path to meaningful slot usage. A physical, NFL-ready receiver who could see opportunity earlier than expected.
MarShawn Lloyd (Round 16)
Lloyd is a post-hype sleeper behind Josh Jacobs in Green Bay. While the depth chart is crowded, Bogman believes Lloyd still has the talent to emerge in a rotational or injury-based opportunity. Worth stashing in deep leagues.
Bonus Late-Round Dynasty Fantasy Football Dart Throws
- Joe Milton (QB) – Biggest arm in the class, mobile; intriguing stash.
- Kyle Pitts (TE) – Honorable mention; still just 24 with rare upside if QB play stabilizes.
- Quentin Johnston (WR) – Not a pick here, but referenced as a boom/bust foil to Trey Harris.
Final Fantasy Football Draft Strategy Takeaways
- Prioritize elite QB talent early, even above WRs or positional depth.
- Bowers is worth a second-round pick, even in non-premium.
- Late rounds are for upside WRs and young RBs with pathway to value.
- Fitz often builds rosters around youth, talent, and trust in offensive context over immediate role.
