Fantasy Football IDP Sleepers
Jalyx Hunt (DL – PHI)
The Eagles lost a lot in their pass rush with Brandon Graham and Josh Sweat leaving town. Insert former first-round pick Nolan Smith Jr on one side, but what about the other side? That’s where Jalyx Hunt is expected to step up. The attention will be on Smith, Jalen Carter, and others. This should leave Hunt under the radar with plenty of opportunity to make plays in the backfield.
Jaylon Carlies (LB – IND)
With the departure of EJ Speed and his 142 tackles, a wide-open role next to Zaire Franklin is up for grabs. Carlies played one game last season of more than 50% of snaps and racked up 10 tackles. As long as he slots into Speed’s role as expected, he has a great shot at triple-digit tackles this season.
Jordan Battle (DB – CIN)
Battle projects to be plug-and-play in a box-heavy role under new defensive coordinator Al Golden. The departure of Vonn Bell creates a significant opportunity for him to step in and produce immediately. Battle has DB1 upside, but with a significantly lower price tag.
