Fantasy Football Injuries to Know for Your Draft
Matthew Stafford (QB – LAR)
Matthew Stafford (back) is practicing with no restrictions.
It’s great to see that Stafford is back in full practice. This is huge news for the Rams offense, especially Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, who depend on Stafford’s strong quarterback play to help meet their lofty average draft positions. With that said, Stafford is a high injury risk all year, since back injuries can flare up at any time, so keep that in mind.
Quentin Johnston (WR – LAC)
Quentin Johnston (concussion) remains in protocol.
Quentin Johnston has been out with a concussion. While there’s still time to return before the start of the season, it’s hard to feel too excited about Johnston in a run-heavy offense with Ladd McConkey and Keenan Allen dominating targets. What was once an intriguing late-round Best Ball pick is now pretty much off the radar.
Travis Hunter (WR – JAX)

The Jaguars are taking a cautious approach to Travis Hunter, keeping him off the field in preparation for the start of the season. There’s no indication that this generational talent will miss time, but the injury has caused him to drop in ADP. You can get Hunter in the sixth round or later right now, which is a terrific value.
Josh Downs (WR – IND)

Josh Downs has missed time with a hamstring injury. At this time, there’s no concern regarding his Week 1 availability. The good news is that Downs gets a slight upgrade at quarterback with Daniel Jones winning the starting job over Anthony Richardson.
