Today’s MLB DFS & Player Props Picks
Monday’s Starting Pitcher Rankings
Yoshinobu Yamamoto has dominated on the road. According to FanGraphs, in 110 innings on the road since last season, Yamamoto has spun a 1.80 ERA, 2.78 xFIP, 0.96 WHIP, 7.2 BB% and 28.5 K%. The righty has a nifty matchup and excellent betting info tonight.
The Angels are 23rd in wRC+ (98) with a 25.7 K% versus righties and tied for 22nd in wRC+ (92) with a 26.6 K% at home in 2025. Thus, the Dodgers are listed as commanding -180 favorites, and the game’s total is 8.0 runs.
Nathan Eovaldi is on an unreal heater. In his previous four starts spanning 27.2 innings, Eovaldi has had the following stats.
- 0.65 ERA
- 3.36 xFIP
- 3.60 SIERA
- 0.80 WHIP
- Four wins
- Three quality starts
- 7.0 BB%
- 25.0 K%
- 12.4 SwStr%
- 27.2 CSW%
Eovaldi’s matchup is challenging at a glance. The Diamondbacks are tied for first in wRC+ (116) with a 21.5 K% versus righties and tied for sixth in wRC+ (105) with a 21.9 K% on the road this season. However, Arizona traded critical players from its lineup before MLB’s trade deadline, and its offense has slumped. The Diamondbacks were tied for 17th in wRC+ (98) with a 20.3 K% in the previous 30 days. So, the Rangers are -160 favorites, and the game’s total is a pitcher-friendly 7.5 runs.
Will Warren is a matchup-driven suggestion. The Twins are 21st in wRC+ (100) with a 21.4 K% versus righties and tied for 17th in wRC+ (95) with a 23.1 K% on the road this year. Warren’s betting info is mixed, with the Yankees -165 favorites, but the game’s total is a ho-hum 8.5 runs.
Warren’s production has been uneven this year, and his 4.44 ERA in 24 starts has left something to be desired. However, Warren’s 4.09 xERA, 3.65 xFIP and 3.93 SIERA were much better. He also has a DFS-friendly 26.1 K% this season. Warren isn’t a safe pick, but he’s an appealing SP2 at DraftKings in all game types at his bargain salary.

Suggested Lineup Stacks
Cristian Javier is making his first start of the year for the Astros after opening this season on the 60-day Injured List (IL). He’s struggled mightily on his rehab assignment. In five starts (one in the complex league, one in Double-A and three in Triple-A) this season, Javier had a 5.14 ERA and 6.43 xFIP. His work won’t get any easier against the Red Sox, making them an appealing offense to stack tonight.
Ryan Pepiot‘s 3.79 ERA has outkicked his 4.39 xFIP on the road since last year. The veteran righty is also in lousy form. He’s had a 5.53 ERA and ceded 2.28 HR/9 in his last five starts. Sutter Health Park isn’t a get-right venue for Pepiot. According to Baseball Savant, Sutter Health Park has the second-highest park factor for runs (119) and the seventh-highest for homers (112) this season. The Athletics don’t have a high-powered offense from top to bottom. Nevertheless, they have a few high-upside options and some bargain selections, making them a nifty stack with an element of cap friendliness.

- Luis Urias is a reasonable punt tonight, with a .321 wOBA and 102 wRC+ against righties this year.
