Tuesday’s Starting Pitcher Rankings

Garrett Crochet (SP – BOS) vs. KC

Garrett Crochet is having a superb first season with the Red Sox and is in fantastic form. According to FanGraphs, he’s tallied the following stats in his previous four starts spanning 26 innings.

  • 1.73 ERA
  • 2.39 xFIP
  • 2.83 SIERA
  • 1.31 WHIP
  • Four wins
  • Three quality starts
  • One shutout
  • 5.6 BB%
  • 28.7 K%
  • 13.3 SwStr%
  • 28.1 CSW%
  • 112 stuff+
  • 94 location+
  • 105 pitching+

Crochet has a favorable matchup and even better betting info. The Royals are tied for 23rd in wRC+ (80) with a 21.9 K% versus lefties and tied for 17th in wRC+ (95) with an 18.8 K% on the road this year. In addition, the Red Sox are commanding -240 favorites, and the game’s total is 8.0 runs.

Nathan Eovaldi (SP – TEX) vs. NYY

Nathan Eovaldi has a challenging matchup. The Yankees are third in wRC+ (116) with a 22.8 K% versus righties and tied for second in wRC+ (116) with a 23.7 K% on the road in 2025. New York was also tied for ninth in wRC+ (107) with a 22.5 K% in the previous 30 days. Still, the betting info is encouraging for Eovaldi’s outlook tonight since the Rangers are listed as -140 favorites, and the game’s total is 8.0 runs.

Eovaldi is also dialed in. In the righty’s previous four starts spanning 25.2 innings, Eovaldi has had the following stats.

  • 0.70 ERA
  • 3.26 xFIP
  • 3.48 SIERA
  • 1.01 WHIP
  • Four wins
  • Three quality starts
  • 7.1 BB%
  • 25.5 K%
  • 12.8 SwStr%
  • 28.4 CSW%

Eovaldi is outkicking his ERA estimators. Nevertheless, his ERA estimators and underlying data are also stellar.

Shota Imanaga (SP – CHC) vs. CIN

Shota Imanaga is a handful for clubs visiting Wrigley Field. In 22 starts spanning 130.1 innings at home since last year, Imanaga has had a 2.97 ERA, 3.60 xFIP, 0.95 WHIP, 3.9 BB% and 26.1 K%.

The lefty has a desirable matchup and excellent betting info tonight. The Reds are tied for 23rd in wRC+ (80) with a 23.9 K% versus lefties and tied for 12th in wRC+ (98) with a 22.9 K% on the road this season. Cincinnati was also 25th in wRC+ (90) with a 21.1 K% in the previous 30 days. Finally, the Cubs are -178, and the game’s total is 8.0 runs.

Suggested Lineup Stacks

The Blue Jays erupted for 15 runs last night in their first game of the series at Coors Field. They have another sweet matchup against righty Anthony Molina tonight. The 23-year-old righty had a 6.59 ERA and 5.83 xFIP in 15 starts in Triple-A this season, and he has a 7.27 ERA, 5.98 xERA, 4.31 xFIP and 4.08 SIERA in five relief appearances for the Rockies this year. The Blue Jays will almost certainly be chalky again tonight. Still, they should light up the scoreboard.

  • Home (Citi Field)
  • Game Total/Moneyline: 8.0 Runs/NYM -200

The Mets are an intriguing stacking pivot from the Blue Jays in GPPs. They also double as a viable option to stack with Toronto. Logan Allen has a 4.06 ERA in 21 appearances (20 starts) in 2025. Yet, the lefty’s 4.49 xERA, 4.65 xFIP and 4.72 SIERA have been less flattering of his work than his ERA. The Mets will likely be a contrarian stack, enhancing the appeal of using them in tournaments.

  • Nathan Lukes sits atop Toronto’s lineup against righties and has hit 10 homers with a .349 OBP, .154 ISO, .336 wOBA and 116 wRC+ in 355 plate appearances against them since 2023.

Check out our best picks on the MLB Underdog Cheat Sheet

Andrew Vaughn (1B, DH – MIL): 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs – Higher

Vaughn has exceeded 1.5 hits plus runs and RBIs in 12 of 19 starts for the Brewers. He has a plus matchup tonight. Joey Wentz has allowed 34 hits, a .270 batting average, .352 OBP, .444 SLG and .339 wOBA to 145 right-handed batters this season.

Addison Barger (3B, OF – TOR): 2.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs – Higher

Barger has amassed 83 hits (41 singles, 25 doubles, one triple and 16 homers), 50 runs, 53 RBIs, a .262 batting average, .279 xBA, .316 OBP, .498 SLG, .518 xSLG and .237 ISO in 343 plate appearances this year. While Barger has been excellent this season, his batted balls indicate he’s been a little unlucky. Coors Field can help him hit closer to his expected stats, and the matchup with Molina is tantalizing as well.

Bo Bichette (SS – TOR): 10.5 Fantasy Points – Higher

In addition to being on a heater, Bichette has a track record of success against righties. He has a .326 OBP, .148 ISO, .330 wOBA and 112 wRC+ against righties since 2023. Bichette should have another big night in his father’s old stomping grounds.
