Week 4 wraps up with two games on Monday Night Football (Miami Dolphins-New York Jets and Denver Broncos-Cincinnati Bengals). It’s time to take a look at the most noteworthy injuries this week that will impact fantasy teams.
Of course, this marks the week in which it appears one of the top wide receivers in fantasy and the NFL is out for the season with a knee injury. Below, I’ll provide a roundup of the latest injury news. Here is this week’s initial fantasy football injury report.

Fantasy Football Injury Updates
Quarterback
Lamar Jackson (QB – BAL)
Lamar Jackson left the Ravens’ 37-20 road loss to the Kansas City Chiefs with a hamstring injury. He left the game with about eight minutes to go in the third quarter. By that point, they were down 27-10. It’s unclear if this is a serious injury or a situation in which the Ravens were down multiple scores, so they played it safe and kept Jackson out.
Running Back
No notable injuries.
Wide Receiver
Darnell Mooney (WR – ATL)
After starting the season with a shoulder injury, Darnell Mooney is now dealing with a hamstring injury. The injury occurred in the first half. He’s fourth on the team in targets.
Ricky Pearsall (WR – SF)
Ricky Pearsall left the 49ers’ game early against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a knee injury. The play came as Pearsall went to make a catch and landed hard on his right knee. He was seen testing the knee out, but didn’t return. Christian McCaffrey dominated the receiving game in his absence.
Cedric Tillman (WR – CLE)
Cedric Tillman left the Browns’ game against the Detroit Lions with a hamstring injury. He caught just one pass for six yards. Rookie wide receiver Isaiah Bond got more opportunities, catching three passes for 58 yards.
Calvin Austin III (WR – PIT)
Calvin Austin III left the Steelers’ game in Ireland against the Minnesota Vikings with a shoulder injury. The injury occurred in the second half, but he later left the game in an ambulance with a sling. The severity is unknown, but the sling and ambulance point to a multi-week abscence.
Malik Nabers (WR – NYG)
Malil Nabers suffered the biggest injury of the weekend, sadly. In the Giants’ win over the Los Angeles Chargers, there was a play in which Nabers went up for a ball thrown by rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Examining the play, Nabers appeared to do something to the knee before or as he was about to jump. Once he got in the air, you could see him in pain, and he started grabbing his knee before he hit the ground. This passing game, especially downfield, will be massively impacted without Nabers on the field. It has been reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport that Nabers likely tore his ACL, which, if true, would mean he would be out for the season.
Tight End
No notable injuries.
