Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets & Stashes
All players listed below are rostered in 25% or fewer of Yahoo! leagues.
WR Handcuffs, Targets & Stashes
Calvin Austin III (WR – PIT) | 17% Rostered
While it hasn’t been super flashy, Calvin Austin is second on the Steelers in target share (18.3%). He’s tied with DK Metcalf in receiving touchdowns (two) as well. Austin has caught eight out of 15 targets for 126 yards. He’s a decent Flex play.
Tre Tucker (WR – LV) | 4% Rostered
Over the last two weeks, Tre Tucker has led the Raiders in target share (24.3%). In Week 3, he exploded, catching eight out of nine targets for 145 yards and three touchdowns. Yes, three touchdowns. Tucker appears to be the true No. 2 or No. 1B WR to Jakobi Meyers.
Parker Washington (WR – JAX) | 4% Rostered
Fellow wide receiver Dyami Brown got hurt. In his absence, Parker Washington saw 11 targets. Additionally, Travis Hunter hasn’t been used as much on offense lately.
If Brown is out and the Jaguars continue to use Hunter on defense, Washington could be a decent addition. When Hunter and Brown aren’t on the field, Washington boasts a 38.5% target share. When only Brown is off the field, he still has a 28.2% target share.
Sterling Shepard (WR – TB) | 0% Rostered
Mike Evans left Week 3 with a hamstring injury. His status is unknown, but if he misses time, Sterling Shepard could be a solid add. In Week 3, he caught four out of five targets for 80 yards and saw a 17.9% target share.
That said, there’s a chance Chris Godwin could play in Week 4. If he does, remove your bid/claim on Shepard. If not, he could be a decent Flex play in Week 4.
Elic Ayomanor (WR – TEN) | 8% Rostered
Elic Ayomanor had just a 14.7% target share in Week 3, but he did catch a touchdown. Now, through three weeks, he boasts a 20% target share, only trailing Calvin Ridley. Ayomanor is a somewhat touchdown-reliant Flex play.
Tyquan Thornton (WR – KC) | 2% Rostered
Tyquan Thornton saw a 26.5% target share in the Chiefs’ Week 3 win over the Giants, catching five out of nine targets for 71 yards and a touchdown.
It’ll be intriguing to see what his usage is when Xavier Worthy and/or Rashee Rice get back on the field, but he’s a must-add without them on the field right now.
TE Handcuffs, Targets & Stashes
Brenton Strange (TE – JAX) | 25% Rostered
In Week 3, Brenton Strange caught six out of seven passes for 61 yards. He was second on the team in targets. Like with Parker Washington, if Brown is out, Strange could see more targets.
Strange is a solid bye week filler coming up with four teams on bye in Week 5.
Isaiah Likely (TE – BAL) | 15% Rostered
Isaiah Likely has been out all season, but he could be available to the Ravens soon. This team desperately needs another pass-catching option.
Wide receiver Zay Flowers has a 42.6% target share over the first two weeks of action (they play on Monday Night Football in Week 3). Fellow tight end Mark Andrews has only seen four targets through Weeks 1 and 2.
