The last time these two teams met, Godwin finished with seven catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns. It was his second biggest game of the year, yet his matchup has declined this time around. How is that possible with Marshon Lattimore out? Well, Lattimore won't be shadowing Evans, which frees him up to make plenty of plays. Then, that has a butterfly effect throughout the secondary and slides P.J. Williams from the slot to the perimeter and allows Chauncey Gardner-Johnson to play the slot. The Saints may not have realized it yet, but Gardner-Johnson is better than Williams. On 20 targets in coverage, he's now allowed just 40 yards and one touchdown. For those counting at home, that's 2.0 yards per target in his coverage. It's a very small sample size, but he was someone I liked a lot coming out of Florida. Godwin will still see some of Williams when he moves to the perimeter about 40 percent of the time, but it's not ideal. Godwin is still in lineups as a low-end WR1, as the Bucs can pick their matchups here, but it could be Evans' time to shine.

Chris Godwin goes for 74 yards in Week 10 win

Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin caught 6-of-12 targets for 74 yards in Sunday's Week 10 win over Arizona.

Fantasy Impact

Godwin's 74 yards were his most since Week 6, which was before Tampa's bye. However, his 12 targets were also his most since that game, which suggests Godwin is going in the right direction. Gowin will look to put it all back together next week against the Saints.
