We have learned a lot in the first six weeks of the season, so we can use that to inform our lineup decisions. The best way to do so is to focus on the matchup, consider the game script and compare your thoughts with FantasyPros’ expert consensus rankings (ECR).
You’ll find three fantasy football booms to start and three busts to bench for Week 7. By this point in the season, we have a good sense of player projections. With that in mind, let’s make those lineup decisions easier for you in Week 7.

Fantasy Football Week 7 Start/Sit Advice
Fantasy Football Boom Starts
Quinshon Judkins (RB – CLE)
Quinshon Judkins has exceeded expectations in his rookie season, rushing for 383 yards and two touchdowns while averaging 4.6 yards per carry. The former Ohio State standout has gone for at least 80 rushing yards in three of his last four games.
Up next is a smash spot at home against the Dolphins, who have been gashed by Kimani Vidal, Rico Dowdle and James Cook in recent weeks. With windy weather in the forecast, it could set up as even more of a run-heavy game script than usual.
Rhamondre Stevenson (RB – NE)
Rhamondre Stevenson is in a projected positive game script with the Patriots as 7-point road favorites against the Titans. We’ve seen the Titans’ run defense struggle all year, ranking 30th in fantasy points per game allowed to running backs.
With TreVeyon Henderson struggling to earn more work in this backfield, expect Stevenson to have an efficient game with a great chance of finding the end zone here.
Mason Taylor (TE – NYJ)
The rookie tight end is going to be forced to become the No. 1 target for Justin Fields with Garrett Wilson sidelined. We’ve seen Mason Taylor answer the bell at times this year, putting up 60+ yards in two of his last three games.
What also bodes well is how much the Panthers have struggled defending tight ends, allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to the position this year.
Fantasy Football Bust Sits
Breece Hall (RB – NYJ)
I’m not feeling good about Breece Hall this week. Not only has his name been mentioned in trade rumors, but it’s a tough matchup against the Panthers, who rank 12th in fantasy points per game allowed to running backs this year.
It’s also worth noting that the Jets’ offense could struggle without Garrett Wilson in the lineup, making it difficult for Hall to find running lanes.
A.J. Brown (WR – PHI)
A.J. Brown has been one of the biggest busts in fantasy football so far this year, failing to provide value at his second-round average draft position (ADP).
It’s unlikely that we see much improvement against the Vikings this week, as this is a defense that ranks first in fantasy points per game allowed to wide receivers. Don’t be surprised to see yet another dud from Brown here.
Keenan Allen (WR – LAC)
I know it’s a good matchup on paper for the Chargers, but Keenan Allen hasn’t been good lately, combining for only 122 yards in his last three games.
There’s a reasonable chance Allen will be third in the pecking order, behind Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston in this matchup. I’d look elsewhere if I needed WR3 production.
