Draft Prep

Second Chance Drafts are upon us. Now that we are more than a month into the season, fantasy managers have gathered draft-altering information on injuries and player performance. Today, we will take a look at two players who have seen their values spike due to the end of a suspension and consistent quarterback play, respectively (written prior to Week 8). Rashee Rice (WR – KC)
This is an obvious one after Rashee’s triumphant return to the field in Week 7 when he hauled in seven of his 10 targets for 42 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Rice picked up where he left off prior to the injury last season and should only get better. You will need to draft him early to get him on your roster, but he has proven that he can be one of the top fantasy wideouts again and should be treated as such for your 2nd Chance Drafts at Renegade Fantasy.

Alec Pierce (WR – IND)
Pierce has been turning it on in recent weeks but truly stepped up in Week 7, hauling in five of his 10 targets for 98 receiving yards. Pierce has finally been unlocked in the Colts offense, and has been playing well enough to warrant consideration for Week 8 at Renegade Fantasy. Pierce, Michael Pittman, and Tyler Warren have all seen an average of five plus targets per game and while Alec is the only one yet to score, he is bound to find the end zone soon enough. Third in the nFL with 19.8 yards per reception and 11.1 yards per target, Pierce is someone to target in Renegade Fantasy’s real time substitution environment.
