Drafts began on October 27th, and the first week of the ‘season’ starts on October 30th (the start of Week 9).

The draft for the FantasyPros 2nd Chance League was held at 6:00 PM EST on October 28th.

This is a welcome addition for most fantasy managers, as while there are a few who play in enough leagues to always have a team in contention, the vast majority of fantasy managers only play in one or two leagues. The Second Chance Drafts, and more specifically the FantasyPros 2nd Chance League, will provide those who find themselves in the bottom third of their league or who know they won’t be competing with an opportunity to have a fresh start with a new ‘season’.

This helps to provide a solution for a considerable pain point for managers who join leagues with the express purpose of added fun, entertainment, and excitement all season long. The Second Chance Draft provides an avenue to make sure everyone can enjoy fantasy football, all season long, even if they run into misfortune in their traditional season long league.

Perfect Lineup Challenge

Now that our 2nd Chance Drafts are in the books, it’s time to dig deep in hopes of setting a perfect lineup for the Renegade Fantasy Perfect Lineup Challenge.

All users in a second chance league that drafted after 6:00 PM EST October 27th and 11:00 PM EST October 28th are eligible, not just those of you lucky enough to get a spot in the FantasyPros 2nd Chance League. 

The $1,000,000 grand prize can only be claimed twice in the promotion period. If it is claimed twice before the end of the promotion period (the end of the fantasy football season), the promotion ends. The grand prize can also only be claimed once in an NFL week (if more than one user sets a perfect lineup, the grand prize will be split evenly).

Ties will go to whichever player you have rostered. A perfect lineup requires you to have the best scoring player(s) at each position started. 

The roster, which still allows for real-time substitutions, requires you to start one QB, two RB, two WR, one TE, one flex, one kicker, and one D/ST. However, only your initial lineup counts for the purposes of this promotion. Substitutions cannot help inflate your score. 

Lineups must be set by 3 PM EST on Thursday weekly to be eligible (you will need to set before game time on Thanksgiving Day due to the early start).
