Friday afternoons are usually my opportunity to connect with FantasyPros readers and the FantasyPros Discord community. Friday morning was when I hopped on the FantasyPros Discord to answer questions this week. Still, if you haven’t already done so, be sure to join our Discord to get answers to your questions. I host weekly AMAs on Fridays, and other analysts also routinely answer questions. Below were three standout topics from Friday’s busy Week 10 AMA.

Discord AMA: Week 10
What is the Level of Concern With Courtland Sutton?
Courtland Sutton was the WR12 in half-PPR points (101.6) and tied for the WR21 in half-PPR points per game (11.3) entering this week. He’s reached double-digit points in half-PPR leagues only once since Week 6.
According to the Fantasy Points data suite, Sutton recorded the following stats in his previous five games:
- 80.4% route participation
- 14.0-yard average depth of target (aDOT)
- 26.5% air yards share
- 16.1% target share
- 0.19 targets per route run
- 18.4% first-read rate
- 15 receptions
- 225 receiving yards
- 1.52 yards per route run (YPRR)
- 1 touchdown
- 2 end-zone targets
- 7.6 half-PPR points per game
- 12.4 expected half-PPR points per game
Sutton’s target share and targets per route run aren’t optimal, but they’re not disastrous. He’s been used as a field-stretching player lately, and none of his two end-zone targets resulted in a touchdown. Unfortunately, Sutton’s usage makes him a volatile player in the WR3 range, but his expected fantasy output suggests better days. ahead.
What’s the Outlook for Kenneth Walker?
Kenneth Walker doesn’t provide consistent production, and he shares the backfield with Zach Charbonnet. Still, there are reasons to believe in him as an RB2 this week.
First, according to nfelo, the Seahawks have the fourth-lowest pass rate over expectations (-5.7% PROE). Second, the Seahawks are 6.5-point favorites. Third, Arizona’s run defense has been leaky lately, yielding 122.3 rushing yards per game, 5.17 yards per carry, a 7% explosive run rate and four rushing touchdowns since Week 6.
Walker could be slightly ahead of Charbonnet in the backfield pecking order, too. In Seattle’s last four games, Walker has out-carried Charbonnet 48 to 41. Walker has tallied 57 rushing yards per game, 4.75 yards per carry and a 6.3% explosive run rate, while Charbonnet has amassed 33.5 rushing yards per game, 3.27 yards per carry and a 2.4% explosive run rate.
Charbonnet offset his inefficiency with three rushing touchdowns, and Walker had zero. Yet, Walker’s two carries inside the 5-yard line last week were the backfield’s only attempts in that area of the field, a potentially notable occurrence since the team was on a bye in Week 8.
Walker could flub a favorable matchup this week. Yet, he had 110 scrimmage yards against the Cardinals on 19 rush attempts, two targets and one reception in Week 4. Walker should be treated as an RB2 this week in 10-team or larger leagues.
Is Kyle Monangai a Viable Option Again This Week?
Kyle Monangai was included in many questions in this week’s Discord AMA, and I stated my expectations for him to own the 40% share of a 60-40 split with D’Andre Swift. Since then, Swift missed Friday’s practice for personal reasons, and he’s been listed as questionable.
Monangai is a no-brainer starter in all leagues if Swift is inactive. Furthermore, he could be on the larger side of a backfield split because he was available for Chicago’s final practice of the week and steamrolled the Bengals last week. The Giants have coughed up 162.5 rushing yards per game, 5.60 yards per carry, an 11.2% explosive run rate and six rushing touchdowns in their previous four games.
Chicago’s rushing attack should run roughshod over the G-Men, which already made Monangai a viable Flex or emergency RB2, even when it appeared Swift would lead the backfield. The rookie running back is an even more enticing option now.
