Fantasy Football Panic Meter (2025)

We’re now heading into Week 11 of the 2025 NFL season, so it’s time to continue looking for ways to improve your roster. That means determining whether it’s time to get rid of underperforming players.

In this article, we’re going to take a look at five players who have been key contributors so far, but there are concerns to keep in mind. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the panic meter after Week 10.

FantasyPros Waiver Wire Advice

Fantasy Football Panic Meter: Week 10

DK Metcalf (WR – PIT)

DK Metcalf is currently averaging 10.7 half-PPR points per game, which ranks as the WR26. The veteran wideout has put up 6.5 points or fewer in four consecutive games.

With that said, Metcalf is one of my favorite buy-lows for this week. Up next is a smash spot against the Bengals, who have the worst defense in the NFL. The Steelers have a 27.5-point implied total for Week 11, second-highest on the slate. If Metcalf can’t pop in this one, then it’s time to panic.

Verdict: 4 out of 10 on the Panic Meter

Xavier Worthy (WR – KC)

Xavier Worthy has been a complete non-factor in the Chiefs’ offense since Rashee Rice returned to the lineup. During that stretch, Worthy is putting up only 6.2 fantasy points per game, which ranks as the WR62.

I’m still a believer in Worthy’s talent, so I’m holding out hope. Perhaps the Chiefs used their Week 10 bye to figure out ways to get Worthy more involved. If Worthy can’t show improvement against a tough Broncos defense, it’s time to panic. That means viewing him as completely unstartable as opposed to the current low-end WR3 that he is.

Verdict: 5 out of 10 on the Panic Meter

Derrick Henry (RB – BAL)

Derrick Henry got off to a terrific start in Week 1, but it’s been all downhill since. The veteran running back is putting up only 11.6 fantasy points per game during that stretch, which ranks as the RB20.

The good news is that with Lamar Jackson back, the Ravens look like Super Bowl contenders again. There are also two matchups on tap against the Bengals, in Week 13 and Week 15. Henry is more of a low-end RB1 right now, but I’m not completely panicking on him due to the favorable team context.

Verdict: 3 out of 10 on the Panic Meter

FantasyPros Start/Sit Assistant

Sam LaPorta (TE – DET)

Sam LaPorta is simply not putting up enough production to justify his sixth-round draft cost, averaging 9.7 fantasy points per game, which ranks as the TE10.

With Jameson Williams showing signs of life for the Lions, coming off a pair of spike weeks, it’s hard to see consistent production from LaPorta. Think of him as a fancy Mark Andrews — a boom-or-bust option who is volatile from week to week.

Verdict: 6 out of 10 on the Panic Meter

Jaxson Dart (QB – NYG)

Jaxson Dart has been phenomenal since taking over as the Giants’ starting quarterback, ranking as the fantasy QB3 during that stretch. There are a couple of reasons to be concerned, however.

For one, Dart is currently dealing with a concussion, which is likely to force him to miss Week 11 against the Packers. When he returns, the Giants have every incentive to pull back the reins, telling Dart to run at a lower rate to prevent injury.

After all, this team has nothing to play for at this point, so why take the risk? Add in the fact that Brian Daboll has been fired, and we should temper our expectations on Dart moving forward.

Verdict: 7 out of 10 on the Panic Meter
