Fantasy Football Trade Advice for Week 12 (2025)

Everyone loves to make fantasy football trades. Therefore, I’m here to give some early fantasy trade advice heading into Week 12. Let’s dive into some players you should buy or sell following this past week’s games.

Early Fantasy Football Trade Advice for Week 12

Players to Buy

Jaxson Dart (QB – NYG)

Unfortunately, Dart missed Sunday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers with a concussion. Yet, he should return to the lineup next week. Fantasy players should expect him to see a decline in rushing attempts, as many are concerned about his long-term health. The rookie has been outstanding, averaging 227.3 passing yards, 1.5 touchdowns, and 25.3 fantasy points per game over his past four starts. More importantly, Dart also has an excellent fantasy playoff schedule, facing the Washington Commanders, Minnesota Vikings, and Las Vegas Raiders from Week 15 through Week 17.

Trey Benson (RB – ARI)

Hopefully, Benson will come off injured reserve this week after missing the past six games due to a knee injury. Unfortunately, the Cardinals’ backfield has been a nightmare since he got hurt, as fantasy players can’t trust starting Emari Demercado or Zonovan Knight. More importantly, Benson could be a league winner. He averaged 8.9 PPR fantasy points per game before getting hurt despite spending most of that time playing behind James Conner. Furthermore, Benson has a fantasy-friendly playoff schedule, including a Week 17 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Stefon Diggs (WR – NE)

While TreVeyon Henderson was a fantasy star on Thursday night, Diggs quietly had an excellent performance. The veteran finished with nine receptions on 11 targets for 105 receiving yards and 19.5 PPR fantasy points, leading the team’s pass catchers in every category. More importantly, he has been a borderline must-start WR2, averaging 7.1 targets and 14.8 fantasy points per game over the past eight weeks, totaling double-digits in all but one contest. Fantasy players should trade for Diggs this week, as the veteran has an appealing rest-of-season schedule.

Jakobi Meyers (WR – JAC)

Despite still needing GPS assistance to find the Jaguars’ facilities, Meyers has already become an impact weapon in the team’s passing attack. He was Jacksonville’s best pass catcher in Sunday’s win over the Los Angeles Chargers, leading the team in receptions (five), targets (six), receiving yards (64), and PPR fantasy points (11.4). Hopefully, Brian Thomas Jr. can play next week after missing the past two games with an ankle injury. Don’t be surprised if Meyers is a top-30 wide receiver for the rest of the season, even when Thomas returns.

Players to Sell

Bryce Young (QB – CAR)

Young was outstanding on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, totaling 448 yards, three touchdowns, and 31.8 fantasy points. However, he had 45 pass attempts, his second-highest total this year. The former Alabama star had 55 pass attempts in Week 2, scoring 21.3 fantasy points. Unfortunately, Young has had 35 or fewer pass attempts in every other game this season, averaging 9.5 fantasy points per contest. Carolina doesn’t put him in situations where he must throw over 30 times very often. Therefore, fantasy players should sell high while they can.

Sean Tucker (RB – TB)

Last week, Bucky Irving returned to practice on a limited basis with foot and shoulder injuries. Unfortunately, the second-year pro missed Sunday’s contest, his sixth consecutive game. However, Irving could return this week against the Los Angeles Rams. Therefore, fantasy players should sell high on Tucker after the former undrafted free agent had 21 touches for 130 scrimmage yards, three touchdowns, and 34 PPR fantasy points against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. He had a similar performance last season, only to have no fantasy impact when the backfield was healthy.

Deebo Samuel (WR – WAS)

Fantasy players should sell high on Samuel after the veteran had seven receptions on eight targets for 74 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 20.7 PPR fantasy points in the loss to the Miami Dolphins in Spain. However, he had averaged 5.5 targets and eight fantasy points per game over his previous four contests, scoring single-digits in all but one. The Commanders should get Terry McLaurin back from injury after the bye week. More importantly, Washington faces several talented defenses to end the year, including the Denver Broncos in Week 13.

Christian Watson (WR – GB)

The Packers dealt with multiple injuries on offense in their win over the New York Giants. Thankfully, the wide receiver unit ended the game without any significant injuries. Watson had a team-high 20.6 PPR fantasy points, scoring two of Green Bay’s three receiving touchdowns. However, the former North Dakota State star only had four receptions on five targets for 46 receiving yards. By comparison, Watson had averaged 2.7 receptions on four targets for 62.7 receiving yards and 8.9 fantasy points per game in his other three contests this season.
