The semi-finals of the fantasy football playoffs are here, as we’re set for Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season. With that in mind, this week’s panic meter is going to focus on polarizing fantasy start sit debates. We’re focusing on whether you should keep disappointing big names in your lineup this week.
With that in mind, find out who I’m panicking on after Week 15.

Fantasy Football Panic Meter: Week 15
Dak Prescott (QB – DAL)
Dak Prescott has had an excellent season, averaging 20.1 fantasy points per game, which ranks as the fantasy QB5 on the year. However, Prescott is coming off a disappointing game against the Vikings in Week 14, where he scored only 12 points, putting him at QB25 for the week.
I’m worried about another subpar performance against the Chargers, who are allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season. It also doesn’t help that the Cowboys are virtually eliminated from playoff contention.
Verdict: 7 out of 10 on the Panic Meter
Michael Wilson (WR – ARI)
Michael Wilson is in this column for the second week in a row. Last week, it was due to a tough matchup against the Texans. Wilson responded by putting up five catches for 51 yards and a touchdown.
This time, we’re concerned because Marvin Harrison Jr. has returned to practice. When Harrison last played versus the Buccaneers, he put up six catches for 69 yards, while Wilson had only three catches for 36 yards. This was despite Wilson coming into that game on a hot streak. That makes me worried that something similar will happen this time around.
Verdict: 7 out of 10 on the Panic Meter
Drake Maye (QB – NE)
You may look at your fantasy team and start to doubt Drake Maye because he’s at the Ravens this week. But this isn’t a defense to fear, even though they shut down Joe Burrow and the Bengals last week.
Baltimore still ranks 17th in fantasy points per game allowed to quarterbacks, so you can fire up Maye with confidence.
Verdict: 1 out of 10 on the Panic Meter
Trevor Lawrence (QB – JAX)
Trevor Lawrence is coming off a monster game against the Jets, where he put up six total touchdowns. Lawrence is now comfortable in Liam Coen’s offense, which is firing on all cylinders.
However, up next is a matchup versus the Broncos. Denver ranks fifth in fantasy points per game allowed to quarterbacks. The good news for Lawrence is that we just saw Jordan Love throw for 276 yards against this group. With that said, I’m still a bit concerned.
Verdict: 7 out of 10 on the Panic Meter
Joe Burrow (QB – CIN)
Joe Burrow is coming off a complete dud versus the Ravens, where he put up only 7.5 fantasy points. The Bengals are just playing out the year, so there’s nothing at stake.
Even though it’s a matchup versus the Dolphins, I suggest looking elsewhere for your fantasy quarterback. Besides, Miami’s defense has improved in recent weeks, aside from their loss in Week 15 against the Steelers.
Verdict: 7 out of 10 on the Panic Meter
