Dynasty Rookie Draft Advice: Senior Bowl WRs & TEs to Watch

The dynasty rookie draft season officially kicks off in Mobile, Alabama. The Senior Bowl has become one of the most important inflection points in the NFL draft process, especially for wide receivers and tight ends trying to separate from crowded tiers. On the latest FantasyPros NFL Draft Show, Seth Woolcock and Derek Brown broke down the receivers and tight ends they are most excited to see in person at the 2026 Senior Bowl, with a heavy eye toward fantasy upside and dynasty rookie draft advice.

Dynasty Rookie Draft Advice

This class is deeper than it first appears, and Mobile could reshuffle dynasty rookie draft boards in a hurry.

K.C. Concepcion (WR – Texas A&M)

Concepcion was the clear headliner of the episode and one of the strongest first-round dynasty bets discussed. A former ACC Rookie of the Year at NC State before transferring to Texas A&M, Concepcion checks almost every box scouts want to see in a modern NFL receiver.

Despite inconsistent quarterback play, he continued to win downfield while maintaining strong yards after catch efficiency. Brown emphasized his route-running polish, varied release package, and ability to play both outside and in the slot. The size concerns do not bother him, especially given how consistently Concepcion plays bigger than his listed frame.

If he dominates one-on-ones in Mobile, the first-round NFL and dynasty conversation is very real.

Elijah Sarratt (WR – Indiana)

Sarratt’s profile is all about role and usage. He is one of the most productive receivers in the class, leading the nation in receiving touchdowns while battling injuries during Indiana’s title run.

Brown sees two paths. If an NFL team forces him into a full-time perimeter role, the ceiling is capped. If he becomes a power slot, his fantasy value spikes. His short-area quickness, route detail, and physicality against nickel defenders fit that role perfectly.

He may not test well, but the film and production speak loudly. Expect early Day 2 capital and immediate dynasty relevance.

Ja’Kobi Lane (WR – USC)

Lane quietly became a staple in Lincoln Riley’s offense, thriving as a red-zone and late-separation winner. At 6-foot-4, he brings size, ball skills, and timing, even if he is not a high-end separator.

Brown highlighted his understanding of leverage and ability to win at the catch point. His Senior Bowl week will be critical for answering questions about consistency and hands. He profiles as a classic situational winner with touchdown upside.

Kevin Coleman Jr. (WR – Missouri)

Coleman is the type of slot receiver dynasty managers often undervalue. He is tough, reliable, and surprisingly effective downfield for his size. Brown compared him favorably to Wan’Dale Robinson, with added vertical ability.

His ability to beat zone coverage and force missed tackles should stand out in Mobile. Coleman feels like a safe PPR bet who could quickly carve out a role on an NFL depth chart.

Ted Hurst (WR – Georgia State)

Hurst might be the biggest sleeper discussed. Despite playing on a struggling Georgia State team, his production and physicality jump off the film. Brown loves his toughness, route refinement, and ability to break tackles despite a leaner build.

This is exactly the type of player who can use the Senior Bowl to erase conference bias. A strong week could push him firmly into Day 2 consideration.

Tanner Koziol (TE – Houston)

Koziol brings elite collegiate production, but the fantasy ceiling is more muted. Brown praised his blocking, reliability, and versatility while questioning his athletic upside. He projects as a steady NFL starter rather than a fantasy difference-maker.

That still has value, especially in tight-end premium formats.

Justin Joly (TE – NC State)

Joly plays with an edge and brings physicality as both a blocker and ball carrier. The concern is athletic ceiling. Brown sees a dependable tight end two at the NFL level who can stick on rosters for a long time, even if he never becomes a fantasy centerpiece.
