5 Early Dynasty Rookie Draft Sleepers (2026)

Dynasty rookie drafts are where long-term contenders are built and where the biggest edges often come from identifying value before the market catches up. While early picks draw most of the attention, astute managers know the real difference-makers can emerge from overlooked prospects with strong paths to opportunity and upside. Our Featured Pros highlight their favorite early dynasty rookie draft sleepers, breaking down the players they believe are undervalued and poised to outperform expectations.

Adam Randall (RB)

“Clemson RB Adam Randall is a fascinating prospect with attention-grabbing physical traits. He’s 6-2 1/2, 230 pounds, and is expected to run something close to a 4.4 at the NFL Scouting Combine next week. Randall was a four-star recruit as a receiver but was converted to RB before his final year at Clemson and finished the 2025 season with 814 rushing yards, 234 receiving yards, and 13 touchdowns in 13 games. Big and athletic, Randall is a worthwhile bet on traits alone. His profile is similar to that of Antonio Gibson, another exceptional athlete who made the switch from WR to RB in college. That might seem like an unflattering comp, but it’s worth remembering that Gibson scored double-digit touchdowns and topped 1,000 yards from scrimmage in each of his first two NFL seasons.”
Pat Fitzmaurice (FantasyPros)

Tyren Montgomery (WR)

Tyren Montgomery from John Carroll turned heads and lit up defensive backs at the year’s Senior Bowl. The 5-foot-11 and 193-pound WR hardly looked like a Division III football prospect who didn’t play a single down of high school football. Keep in mind…Montgomery said in a recent interview that he ran his first slant route at 19 years old in his backyard (Locked on NFL Draft show). Needless to say, the former LSU basketball walk-on is dripping with potential at the next level. The soon-to-be 25-year-old posted a 39% dominator rating in his two seasons with the Blue Streaks, averaging over 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns per year. 36% target share in 2025 as PFF’s third-highest graded WR in the 2026 draft class (8th in yards per route run).”
Andrew Erickson (FantasyPros)

Ted Hurst (WR)

Ted Hurst won’t remain this low on the list for the entire NFL Draft process, so I’ll go ahead and mention him while I can. Hurst being ranked as WR21 (52nd overall) is criminal. Hurst might hail from a small collegiate program (Georgia State), but he has big-time talent. Last year, among all FBS/FCS wide receivers with at least 50 targets, Hurst ranked 52nd in PFF receiving grade and 24th in missed tackles forced (per PFF). He has effortless speed, legit route-running chops, and the physical play strength to handle press corners. I’ll be targeting Hurst in all of my rookie drafts.”
Derek Brown (FantasyPros)

Skyler Bell (WR)

“UConn WR Skyler Bell is currently my 20th overall Superflex rookie asset, sitting 15 spots ahead of the ECR. While he has red flags as a five-year player with previous drop issues, his 2025 production suggests a legitimate fantasy ceiling. Bell finished the season top five in the FBS in targets, yards, receptions, and touchdowns. His efficiency was elite as well, posting 3.13 yards per route run on a 35% target rate. Ultimately, these positives make him a high-upside swing worth taking in the mid-second round of dynasty rookie drafts.”
Jim Moorman (Dynasty Football Factory)

Le’Veon Moss (RB)

“Due to injuries throughout his time in college, there isn’t much buzz around Le’Veon Moss, but when you zoom out and look at the peripherals, it’s hard not to be intrigued. Moss runs fast, and if he tests well at the NFL Combine, he could easily start to pick up some hype. His contact balance is excellent, and he’s not a zero in the passing game either. Much would be landing spot dependent, but with the Combine on the horizon, he’s worth paying attention to.”
