Saturday’s five-game NBA DFS main slate offers a blend of high- and low-scoring environments, with several contests also carrying notable blowout risk.
The slate is headlined by Memphis Grizzlies–Portland Trail Blazers, which owns the highest total at 237.5 points. Utah Jazz–Orlando Magic follows closely at 235.5, while Philadelphia 76ers–Phoenix Suns sits at the bottom of the board with a 221.5-point total.
Blowout concerns are also in play, as three games feature spreads of more than eight points: Cleveland Cavaliers against the Sacramento Kings (-11.5), Memphis versus Portland (-9.5) and Utah against Orlando (-8.5).
With a wide range of totals, several teams dealing with injuries and multiple clubs playing on zero days of rest, pinpointing the right game environments and finding leverage through lineup differentiation will be crucial. Below are some of the top plays and value options to target on Saturday’s slate.

NBA DFS Core Plays
Jamal Murray (PG, SG – DEN)
- DraftKings: $9,000
- FanDuel: $9,300
Jamal Murray heads into Saturday’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls riding serious momentum, having scored at least 30 points in back-to-back games. Over that two-game stretch, he’s leading the league with 35.5 points per game while adding three rebounds, seven assists, and one block. He is shouldering a massive offensive load and looking fully in rhythm as both a scorer and playmaker.
This evening, he draws a Chicago team that completely revamped its backcourt at the trade deadline, creating the potential for early chemistry issues and defensive breakdowns. Murray is well-positioned to exploit any breakdowns, especially in pick-and-roll sets. On top of that, Nikola Jokic (ankle) is questionable for Saturday’s contest, and any absence would funnel even more usage and on-ball responsibility toward Murray, raising both his floor and ceiling.
Austin Reaves (SG, SF – LAL)
- DraftKings: $7,900
- FanDuel: $8,400

NBA DFS GPP Targets
VJ Edgecombe (SG, SF – PHI)
- DraftKings: $6,800
- FanDuel: $7,400
VJ Edgecombe has been one of the top rookies this season, showcasing his talent and versatility, though his fantasy output has been inconsistent when the Philadelphia 76ers are fully healthy. However, over his last two games, he’s averaging 22 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and three steals while ranking third on the team in usage at 22.8%. His ability to contribute across multiple categories makes him a high-upside option when given the green light offensively.
For Saturday’s matchup, Paul George (suspension) will remain sidelined, and Joel Embiid (knee) is listed as questionable. If Embiid is ruled out, Edgecombe is poised for a significant usage bump, given that Embiid has led the team in usage over the last two games. That potential increase in offensive responsibility, combined with his multi-category production, positions Edgecombe as a strong target with both a high floor and upside in a game where the Sixers will likely rely heavily on him.
Jarrett Allen (PF, C – CLE)
- DraftKings: $7,000
- FanDuel: $7,300
Jarrett Allen has been playing excellent basketball recently, averaging 19.8 points, 11 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks over his last stretch of games. His all-around production makes him a key contributor on both ends, and he’s consistently shown the ability to fill the stat sheet in multiple categories.
While his price is higher than usual, paying up for Allen is justified against the Sacramento Kings. They have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing centers and rank dead last in defensive rating over their last seven games. Allen’s combination of scoring, rebounding, rim protection, and defensive activity makes him a prime option to exploit a vulnerable frontcourt.
NBA DFS Value Plays
Dominick Barlow (PF, C – PHI)
- DraftKings: $4,200
- FanDuel: $4,700
Since Paul George’s suspension, Dominick Barlow has seen a noticeable increase in minutes, now averaging 27.9 per game — sixth on the team. During that stretch, he’s delivered 14.3 points, seven rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game, showing he can contribute across multiple categories. Barlow has topped 21 fantasy points in three of four games, including a monstrous 26-point, 16-rebound performance on February 2 that totaled 57.2 fantasy points, highlighting his upside.
If Joel Embiid (knee) is ruled out tonight, Barlow could see an additional bump in both minutes and usage, putting him in an excellent position to exceed 5x value. His ability to score and rebound makes him a nice option at his price point, especially in a game where the team may rely on him to help fill the void left by Embiid.
Jonas Valanciunas (C – DEN)
- DraftKings: $4,900
- FanDuel: $4,500
Nikola Jokic is dealing with a left ankle sprain and is listed as questionable on the injury report, putting his status for Saturday firmly in doubt. Any absence from Jokic would have massive ripple effects across Denver’s rotation and usage tree, especially in the frontcourt. His availability will be one of the most important pieces of news to monitor on the slate, as Denver is forced to redistribute both playmaking and rebounding when the reigning MVP is sidelined.
If Jokic is unable to suit up, Jonas Valanciunas immediately jumps into strong DFS consideration. He’s played four games without Jokic this season and has been highly productive in that sample, averaging 15.3 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and one block in 25.1 minutes. Valanciunas benefits from a clear path to additional touches and rebounding opportunities in those spots, and his per-minute production gives him a solid floor with tournament upside if his minutes push closer to the upper-20s.
