DraftKings NFL Early Bird Best Ball: $1M in Total Prizes

Best ball is quickly becoming the preferred format for many fantasy managers, while others like to draft both weekly and best ball teams. Participating in multiple leagues is a divisive topic for some, but with the help of DraftKings best ball, it doesn’t have to be.

Best ball requires you to draft once and enjoy the season. No management whatsoever. No waiver wires, no lineup tinkering, no weekly grind. DraftKings automatically puts your highest-scoring producers for that week in your starting slots. Best ball rosters are larger than your typical redraft weekly league, which helps when the inevitable injuries strike.

Strategy is key in best ball, and while there is no method that has consistently proven to be better than others. Finding the right positional composition will be clutch. As will some injury luck. Rookies and breakout players are often pivotal in moving teams up or down the standings. Hit on the right ones? You could find yourself contending atop the leaderboard. Swing and miss on too many, and your team will be sunk.

Here is the ADP of some of the more noteworthy rookies:

Jeremiyah Love (RB) – ADP 20.18
We are weeks away from the NFL Draft, and Love is already a second round pick. This is not really a surprise given his talent level, but where he lands will determine whether this is an ADP value or an outright reach. With that said, RB10 should be about where his floor should be regardless of what team he winds up on. He is that good.

Carnell Tate (WR) – ADP 58.65
Tate is expected to be an immediate contributor in the NFL and is projected by most to be the first wide receiver off the board in the 2026 NFL Draft. Where he lands will dictate his upside this season, but he is expected to step into a 75+ reception role immediately. Tate is being drafted ahead of players like DK Metcalf, Marvin Harrison, Brian Thomas Jr., and Mike Evans. And behind Parker Washington? Whatever the case, unless he lands with the New York Jets, we can expect Tate’s ADP to rise as we draw closer to draft day and after he is drafted and his role secured.

Jordyn Tyson (WR) – ADP 70.96
Tyson is the third wide receiver in ADP off the board out of the rookies. Landing spot will be key for Tyson, as a stable offense and the depth chart of the team he lands on will determine his rookie season success. While he could function as a number one on a weaker depth chart, he will benefit greatly from the easier corner matchups afforded to number two options. To that effect, a QB who can support two fantasy viable wideouts will be key.

Makai Lemon (WR) – ADP 63.31
Lemon is a highly skilled slot weapon who should be able to feast on nickel corners and linebackers. He should see snaps outside as well, but will see the bulk of his production come on the inside. If he lands on the right team (a theme here), he can easily be the most productive rookie in this class.

Denzel Boston (WR)– ADP 123.61
Denzel Boston is the fourth receiver expected to go in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, and his ADP reflects that. Boston could be a quick riser once landing spots are determined, as he has the type of profile to thrive if he is not thrust into a number one wide receiver role right away. He can win on all three levels, but will make his money on the intermediate and deeper routes.

Kenyon Sadiq (TE) – ADP 144.53
Sadiq was one of the highlights of the 2026 NFL Combine, putting on a show with a sub 4.4 40-yard dash as well as elite numbers in the explosion testing (vertical and broad jumps). Regarded by many as the top tight end in the draft even before his combine performance, Sadiq could be drafted in the first round, draft capital that would almost ensure a sizable and immediate role.

Fernando Mendoza (QB) – ADP 126.95
Mendoza is currently the QB21 in ADP in DraftKings. He is going ahead of names like CJ Stroud, Malik Willis, and Daniel Jones. Mendoza should provide some value with his legs, so the ADP makes sense. The ADP of some of the players behind him makes less sense however.
