Fantasy Baseball Prospects to Stash: Week 3 (2026)

We’re seeing more and more prospects getting called up lately, and the speculation around who’s next is getting louder by the day. It’s always a good idea to stay ahead of the alerts/breaking news on prospect promotions. You want to be ahead of the other league owners, so you don’t have to pull over while driving just to try and grab the latest fantasy baseball prospects.

It’s still early in the season, and as always, we’re seeing some fantasy baseball prospects take off while others are still trying to find their rhythm. We already saw No. 1 prospect Konnor Griffin get the call earlier this season. Now the question becomes: Who’s next? Below are updates on the players mentioned last week, along with a few new names to monitor in the coming weeks.

Fantasy Baseball Prospects to Stash

Colt Emerson (SS – SEA) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 7

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: April

Colt Emerson has recovered from fouling a ball off his foot, but he still looks on track for a promotion in the near future. He’s hitting .265 with one home run and two steals through 13 games. Cole Young and J.P. Crawford are his main obstacles. Neither is exactly making a strong case right now. Crawford is hitting under .200, and Young, who’s playing second base, is sitting at .230.

The Mariners rank 28th in league batting average and 27th in slugging. This team wants to repeat as American League West champs, and the offense desperately needs a spark. Emerson should be up pretty soon.

Max Clark (OF – DET) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 8

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: June

Max Clark is hitting .356 in 15 games so far in Triple-A. This is his first look at that level. So far, no complaints. He doesn’t have a homer yet, but he does have eight doubles and six steals.

Parker Meadows suffered a terrible injury last week and will be out for a while. Javier Baez is getting more playing time and actually hitting, but how long is that going to last? Detroit wants to make the playoffs for the third straight season, and winning the division is possible.

We’ve already seen the Tigers get aggressive with the Kevin McGonigle promotion. With Clark hitting like this, a call-up could be coming soon.

Bryce Eldridge (1B – SF) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 20

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: May

Bryce Eldridge is still raking in Triple-A. He has a .360 average and a 1.012 OPS in 13 games. Only one homer so far, but it’s early. In his last three games, he went 9-for-14. He’s performing well enough to force the issue.

The hurdle is Casey Schmitt, who’s hitting .438 in his last seven games. I don’t see Schmitt being a long-term roadblock, though. The Giants’ offense is still one of the worst in baseball, and sitting at the bottom of the National League West. They might try to mix things up, and Eldridge could be part of that mix.

Robby Snelling (SP – MIA) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 34

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: May

In 13 innings so far, Robby Snelling has a 2.77 ERA and 22 strikeouts. He’ll be an exciting pitcher to roster once he gets promoted.

Unfortunately, we’re not hearing much news that Snelling will be promoted soon. It sounds like Braxton Garrett, who missed last season with elbow surgery, will get first dibs if the Marlins need a starter.

I’d still stash Snelling if you can. He’ll get the call eventually; it just might take another month.

Charlie Condon (1B – COL) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 62

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: Late May / Early June

The Rockies’ offense is actually doing pretty well at the moment. They rank in the top 15 in most hitting stats, so they don’t need Charlie Condon right this second. But his .318 average, 1.070 OPS and four home runs (in 11 games) are hard to ignore.

Condon is still getting reps in the outfield, and that seems to be his path to the Majors. As long as the bat stays hot and he shows he can handle the corner outfield spots, we should see him up soon.

Additional Prospects to Consider

Travis Bazzana (2B – CLE) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 16

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: May

Travis Bazzana hasn’t really hurt himself this past week. He went 6-for-14 in his last four games with three doubles. Cleveland just doesn’t seem in a rush to promote him. He’ll get daily at-bats in Triple-A and build confidence. If he goes on a tear in the next week or two, the promotion will follow.

James Tibbs III (OF – LAD) | Top 100 Ranked Prospect: Unranked

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: June

James Tibbs III slowed down over the weekend after his blazing start. In his last four games, he’s gone just 2-for-15. As mentioned last week, I didn’t expect the torrid pace to continue, but I didn’t expect a screeching halt either.

Monitor Tibbs and see if he becomes more consistent. The Dodgers aren’t desperate for another outfielder right now, and Tibbs will need longer stretches of success to earn a call-up.

Tanner McDougal (SP – CWS) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: Unranked

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: May

In three Triple-A games, Tanner McDougal has a 2.40 ERA and 19 strikeouts in 15 innings. We just saw the White Sox promote Noah Schultz, so they might be aggressive with their young arms. Former first-round pick Hagen Smith is a possibility, but he isn’t stretched out as far as McDougal yet.

Last year, across Single-A and Double-A, McDougal had 136 strikeouts in 113 innings. There’s some potential here, and he wouldn’t be a costly add to see what he can do.
