Parker Meadows clubs fourth homer of the spring Sunday
Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Parker Meadows hit his fourth home run of the spring Sunday versus the Minnesota Twins.
Fantasy Impact
While still a longshot to crack the Opening Day roster, Meadows is making a serious case as the first outfielder promoted when the Tigers need some outfield help. The four homers tie him for the most in Grapefruit League play while his six extra-base hits also tie him for the league lead. For good measure, Meadows' 23 total bases tie him for second in the Grapefruit League. The 23-year-old enjoyed a breakout season in 2022, hitting .275 with 16 homers, 17 steals, and an .820 OPS across 113 games at the Double-A level. He'll almost certainly begin the season at Triple-A before potentially making his MLB debut at some point in the upcoming season.
