Saturday’s NBA DFS main slate is a compact three-game slate that tips off at an unusual 3:00 p.m. ET, creating a tighter window for lineup decisions and late-breaking news. Despite the limited player pool, there’s still plenty of intrigue from a game environment standpoint when it comes to our NBA DFS picks.
Both the San Antonio Spurs-Denver Nuggets and Detroit Pistons-Philadelphia 76ers matchups carry competitive spreads within three points, setting up for strong minutes and fantasy-friendly opportunities on both sides.
The lone game with notable blowout risk comes from the Washington Wizards-Miami Heat matchup, where Miami enters as a heavy 16.5-point favorite. That creates some volatility when projecting minutes for key players, while potentially opening the door for value options if the game gets out of hand.
With multiple teams managing injuries on such a small slate, roster construction becomes even more critical. Finding the right combination of high-floor stars and under-the-radar value plays can provide a significant edge in tournaments. Identifying leverage spots — whether through rostership pivots or unexpected rotation bumps — will be key to separating from the field. Below are some of the top targets to consider for Saturday’s slate.

NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel DFS Primer
NBA DFS Core Plays
- DraftKings: $11,600
- FanDuel: $12,900
Victor Wembanyama has been dominant over his last five games, averaging 30 points, 15.8 rebounds, four assists, 1.2 steals and 3.8 blocks per game. That level of production is difficult to overlook on a smaller slate, especially given his ability to rack up fantasy points in bunches. His ceiling remains unmatched when he’s contributing as both a scorer and rim protector.
In a slate where paying up is a key decision point, Wembanyama gets the edge over Nikola Jokic. While both offer elite upside, Wembanyama’s recent form and defensive contributions provide a slightly higher ceiling. He has also performed well in this matchup, averaging 25 points, 20.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, one steal and three blocks in his last two meetings against the Denver Nuggets.
From a team perspective, San Antonio has been far more effective defensively this season, ranking third in defensive rating, while Denver sits 21st. That disparity further solidifies my choice to pay up for Wembanyama. Given his recent dominance and all-around production, he stands out as the top pay-up option on the slate.
- DraftKings: $7,100
- FanDuel: $7,500
Daniss Jenkins has stepped up in a major way while filling in for Cade Cunningham (lung) in the starting lineup, emerging as a key piece of the Detroit Pistons’ offense. Over that span, he’s averaging 19.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and seven assists in 36.2 minutes, taking on a heavy workload as both a scorer and facilitator. Jenkins has also scored at least 20 points in two straight games, showing confidence and consistency in an expanded role.
Jenkins should continue to see significant usage in this spot, especially in a competitive matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. With the game carrying just a 1.5-point spread in favor of Detroit, there’s a strong chance for full minutes and a high-intensity environment, which benefits players with secure roles like Jenkins.

NBA DFS Cash Game Targets
- DraftKings: $9,000
- FanDuel: $8,800
Jalen Duren has returned to form in a big way, playing in two straight games after missing the March 30th matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to a knee issue. In those two contests, he’s averaging 26.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 blocks, showcasing his ability to dominate both as a scorer and on the glass when fully healthy.
Duren finds himself in another favorable spot against the Philadelphia 76ers, a team that has struggled to contain opposing centers on the boards. Philadelphia is allowing an average of 16.7 rebounds per game to the position, the sixth-most in the league during that span, setting up Duren for another strong rebounding performance.
- DraftKings: $4,800
- FanDuel: $5,400
Pelle Larsson has been playing at an extremely high level recently, averaging 17.7 points, six rebounds, four assists and 1.3 steals in 36.7 minutes per game. He ranks third on the team in minutes during this stretch and is poised for another significant role with Norman Powell (illness) unavailable for Saturday’s contest.
Larsson also draws a favorable matchup against the Washington Wizards, who rank 23rd in defensive rating over their last five games. The Wizards’ defensive struggles should allow Larsson to stay aggressive offensively and continue his strong production.
The only potential concern is Miami entering as heavy favorites (-16.5), which could lead to Larsson sitting out the fourth quarter if the game gets out of hand. Still, his extremely favorable price point mitigates this risk, and he remains an appealing option on such a small slate.

NBA DFS GPP Targets
- DraftKings: $7,800
- FanDuel: $8,200
Since returning from his 25-game suspension, Paul George has been extremely productive, particularly from the floor. He’s averaging 27 points on 50% shooting, along with 6.8 rebounds, four assists and 3.2 steals per game.
George’s all-around production gives him both a high floor and a massive ceiling. That ceiling rises even further with Joel Embiid (rest) potentially sitting out the second leg of the back-to-back, increasing George’s usage and scoring opportunity in what should be a featured role.
- DraftKings: $4,400
- FanDuel: $5,700
Julian Reese has missed the Washington Wizards’ last two games due to his two-way contract but is eligible to play in the team’s final six regular-season contests. With Tristan Vukcevic (knee) and Alex Sarr (toe) listed as questionable for this afternoon’s matchup, Reese could see a significant role if either player is sidelined.
Reese has already shown the type of upside he can provide when given extended minutes. On March 25th against the Utah Jazz, he posted 26 points, 17 rebounds, one block and a steal.
Monitoring the Wizards’ injury report will be key, as Reese could easily log another 30-minute game. If that opportunity arises, his combination of scoring and rebounding upside makes him a strong tournament target.

NBA DFS Value Plays
- DraftKings: $4,600
- FanDuel: $4,400
Duncan Robinson has been managing a hip issue, but he has suited up in two straight games and made a strong impact. Over that stretch, he’s averaging 17 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and one steal in 28.9 minutes, continuing to provide efficient scoring while contributing modestly in other categories.
Robinson now draws a favorable matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers, a team he’s already had success against this season. In three meetings, Robinson is averaging 17 points, three rebounds, 2.7 assists and two steals, producing very similar numbers to his recent form. That level of consistency against a familiar opponent adds to his appeal.
With his minutes trending upward and his shot volume remaining steady, Robinson offers a solid mix of floor and upside, especially in a competitive game environment. If he continues to see close to 30 minutes, he profiles as a strong value option with the ability to outperform his price.
