Dynasty Rookie Draft Picks

1.08 – Ty Simpson (QB – LAR)

Ty Simpson’s dynasty value in the 2026 class is being driven more by draft capital and team context than by a universal belief he’s a future difference-maker. The Rams taking him 13th overall locks in a multi-year runway in a strong QB ecosystem, but also likely delays his debut behind Matthew Stafford. As a mostly pocket-based passer with limited rushing juice, his ceiling hinges on McVay turning him into an efficient distributor; he profiles more as a steady QB2 outcome than an elite fantasy cornerstone. Expect minimal rookie-year contribution outside of injury-driven spot starts.

2.08 – Nick Singleton (RB – TEN)

Singleton’s dynasty value in the 2026 class is mostly a bet on situation over profile. Fifth-round draft capital (No. 165) with Tennessee puts him on a thin but volatile depth chart, likely starting as an early-down/goal-line complement while he earns trust in pass pro. The ceiling outcome is a post-2026 runway to a starting job if the Titans let the room turn over, but the floor is Day 3 replacement-level usage if his vision and lateral agility don’t improve. Expect sporadic rookie-year touches with a path to more late in 2026.

3.08 – Skyler Bell (WR – BUF)

Buffalo buying in on Skyler Bell on Day 3 (No. 125 overall) makes him a dynasty value swing rather than a cornerstone, but the landing spot does real work. The Bills get a high-volume collegiate producer with legit burst and YAC chops, and he’s tethered to Josh Allen in an offense that can support multiple weekly contributors. Most expect Bell to begin as a slot/possession option, with developmental questions vs. press and as a true alpha limiting his ceiling to more “long-term WR2” than WR1. As a rookie, he projects more as a rotational PPR flex who can spike with injuries or rapid role growth.

4.08 – Seth McGowan (RB – IND)

Indy’s seventh-rounder Seth McGowan is viewed as a pure dynasty stash: minimal draft capital, but a real path to value if he wins the Colts’ RB2 job behind Jonathan Taylor. The expectation is early-down/grinder work with enough pass-game competence to stay active on gameday, and his best-case ceiling is an injury-away spot starter who can spike into RB2 weeks. Rookie-year contribution should be light unless Taylor misses time, making McGowan mostly a taxi-squad handcuff bet with a short runway given he’s already 25.

5.08 – CJ Daniels (WR – LAR)

C.J. Daniels is being valued as a Day 3 bet whose best-case dynasty payoff comes more from scheme and opportunity than elite traits. The Rams took him at No. 197 overall, a hit to his odds of ever becoming a high-volume fantasy starter, but a solid landing spot for a polished, physical receiver. Most project him as a possession/contested-catch WR who could compete for L.A.’s WR3 job and occasionally spike weeks, with a long-term ceiling closer to a FLEX/WR3 than a true difference-maker. As a rookie, he’s more likely to be a bench/taxi stash than a reliable weekly contributor.
