Another week of fantasy baseball prospects to stash is here, and only one name from last week’s list earned a promotion. Jonah Tong made his 2026 MLB debut with the Mets over the weekend. He isn’t in the rotation yet, but he looked sharp in relief and has earned a longer look.

As we move into the summer months, MLB organizations will begin evaluating which prospects can help them down the stretch. Below are the Week 9 prospect stashes — a mix of new names and familiar ones worth monitoring.

Fantasy Baseball Prospects to Stash

Cooper Ingle (C – CLE) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 73

Current Level: Triple-A

I’m cooling slightly on Cooper Ingle only because Cleveland seems content to wait on his promotion. The bat continues to play, though. Over his last 10 starts, he’s hitting .286 with two home runs and eight walks.

Ingle’s hit tool is advanced, his plate discipline is elite and his .502 on-base percentage (OBP) on the season works in any fantasy format. If you can afford to wait on a catcher, Ingle remains a strong stash.

Patrick Bailey was acquired for his defense, and if his bat shows even mild improvement, Ingle’s timeline could be pushed back. Designated hitter is another path, especially with Kyle Manzardo and Rhys Hoskins struggling. For now, we wait.

Luis Lara (OF – MIL) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 95

Current Level: Triple-A

Luis Lara is hitting .361 over his last 10 games. He hasn’t homered in that stretch but added two doubles, two steals and eight walks to six strikeouts. The switch-hitter brings elite bat‑to‑ball skills, plus speed and strong defense. If he keeps hitting, a late June promotion feels realistic.

The concern? Lara could be used as a fourth outfielder, limiting his fantasy value. But Milwaukee’s current outfielders, Sal Frelick, Garrett Mitchell and Blake Perkins aren’t securing their roles. The Brewers are in the National League Central title race and will want their best lineup. If Lara keeps producing, he could be part of it.

Max Clark (OF – DET) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 8

Current Level: Triple-A

Top Tigers prospect Max Clark could debut by the All‑Star break. The Tigers’ season hasn’t gone as planned, and injecting a high-energy prospect could help spark the lineup/team.

Clark is hitting .268 over his last 10 games with one home run, three doubles and two steals. The power is still developing, and he has 13 doubles on the year. Once he’s promoted, expect Detroit to give Clark a long leash. In five-outfielder or deep leagues, he’s a stash now.

Edwin Arroyo (SS – CIN) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 100

Current Level: Triple-A

Edwin Arroyo is one of the best defensive shortstops in the minors, and he’s added strength and improved swing decisions. He now profiles as a potential 15-home-run/20-stolen bases contributor.

Cincinnati’s infield is crowded, but Arroyo’s glove could force the issue. He’s hitting .342 with two home runs and four steals in his last 10 games. A promotion feels imminent. If you need help at shortstop, add Arroyo sooner rather than later.

Cole Carrigg (OF – COL) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: Unranked

Current Level: Triple-A

Cole Carrigg has primarily played center field in Triple‑A but still logs time at shortstop, giving him valuable versatility. His strikeout rate sits at 14%, and although he no longer has more steals than strikeouts, his 27 stolen bases to 32 strikeouts ratio is still impressive.

Carrigg compares favorably to Luis Lara — if you miss one, stash the other. Carrigg is especially useful in deep or five-outfielder leagues. Lara likely gets the call first, but Carrigg’s multi‑position eligibility boosts his appeal.

Carson Whisenhunt (SP – SFG) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: Unranked

Current Level: Triple-A

Carson Whisenhunt’s strikeout upside makes him a strong stash in deeper leagues. His control has improved as well, with only eight walks in his last six starts.

Logan Webb is expected back soon, but Robbie Ray’s struggles could open a rotation spot. Even a spot start could turn into something more if Whisenhunt performs.

Jacob Gonzalez (SS – CWS) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: Unranked

Current Level: Triple-A

Jacob Gonzalez isn’t a top‑tier prospect, but he’s becoming hard to ignore. He’s hitting .317 with four home runs and 14 RBI in his last 10 games. With nearly 100 Triple‑A games under his belt, the White Sox may want to see what they have.

Charlie Condon (1B, OF – COL) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 75

Current Level: Triple-A

Charlie Condon is heating back up after a brief slump. He’s hitting .282 with two home runs and four doubles in his last 10 games. Strikeouts remain a concern (25% strikeout rate), but not a deal‑breaker.

Condon continues to play outfield in Triple‑A, and that added versatility boosts his promotion odds. In deep leagues or if you need first base help, Condon is a strong second‑half stash.

Kaelen Culpepper (SS – MIN) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 39

Current Level: Triple-A

Kaelen Culpepper could help the Twins’ infield soon. He’s played mostly shortstop with some third base mixed in. Brooks Lee has shifted to third since Royce Lewis was demoted, opening a potential lane.

Culpepper has 11 home runs and 11 stolen bases in Triple‑A with a strikeout rate below 20% and mid‑90s exit velocities. He’s a prospect to watch and possibly a week or two from a call‑up.

Joshua Baez (OF – STL) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 68

Current Level: Triple-A

Joshua Baez is becoming more interesting as the Cardinals appear increasingly aggressive in their promotions. He’s hitting .289 with five home runs and four stolen bases in his last 10 games and is already on the 40‑man roster.

Lars Nootbaar’s impending return could delay things, but outside of Jordan Walker, the Cardinals’ outfield has struggled. If St. Louis stays in the playoff hunt, Baez could be the spark they turn to.
