The Mets promoted pitching prospect J.T. Ginn to High-A Brooklyn.

Ginn registered a 2.56 ERA and a 0.93 WHIP in eight games with Low-A St. Lucie. The 22-year-old right-hander was the club's second-round pick in the 2020 MLB Draft. He isn't a must-add player in dynasty leagues just yet, however.

Ginn is receiving a signing bonus of $2.9 million, which is more than double the recommended slot value of the 52nd overall pick. The 21-year-old underwent Tommy John surgery back in March, which is why he fell out of the first round of this month's draft. He'll aim to come back healthy in 2021.
