Nick Martinez, auditioning for one-of-two spots in the Rangers' starting rotation to begin the year, was hammered by the Indians Wednesday afternoon. Over 2 2/3 innings, he allowed 9 hits and seven runs (all earned) while walking one and striking out two. He now carries a bloated 23.63 ERA this spring.
