Cleveland starting pitcher Ryan Merritt turned in another impressive outing for his team on Wednesday. The southpaw pitched 5 1/3 innings of one-run ball against the Yankees, helping his team to a 9-4 win.
Fantasy Impact:
Merritt continues to pitch effecitvely for the Indians. He now has a 2-0 record, 1.74 ERA, and seven strikeouts over five appearances. He is going to have a tough time breaking into a deep Cleveland starting rotation but he has value as a spot starter.
