Ubaldo Jimenez spun five innings Sunday, allowing only one run on one hit and a walk. He struck out ten, reminding everyone of the pitcher he used to be. Unfortunately, the strikeouts led to a high pitch count, and he was taken out early.
Fantasy Impact:
Talk about a surprise. Even with this nice start, Jimenez's numbers are still awful: 6.57 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP. If you desperately need Ks at the end of the week, look to stream him against the Rays Saturday.
