Kyler Murray officially declares for NFL Draft ahead of deadline

Oklahoma quarterback, Heisman trophy winner, and Oakland Athletics draft pick Kyler Murray has officially declared for the NFL Draft ahead of Monday's deadline to do so, according to Murray himself on Twitter. (Kyler Murray)
Fantasy Impact:
Murray declaring for the draft does not mean that he has officially committed to playing football and abandoning baseball. It just means that Murray will now get feedback from NFL scouts regarding where he might go in the NFL draft. NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports that most scouts estimate that Murray would be drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round. Murray still has at least a few weeks before he makes a decision about which sport to play, but declaring for the NFL Draft allows him to keep that option available should he ultimately decide to play football.
