The news is a huge blow to the Diamondbacks and fantasy owners as Souza was among the top 300 players in FantasyPros Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR). Hopefully the power hitter can return to the field and stay on it for the 2020 season but he won't be helping any teams this year. Adam Jones will now be in a full-time role in the outfield with this news.
