Steven Souza Jr. out for the 2019 season with multiple torn knee ligaments

Steven Souza Jr will miss the 2019 season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL, torn LCL, and partially torn PCL in his left knee. (Arizona Diamondbacks on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The news is a huge blow to the Diamondbacks and fantasy owners as Souza was among the top 300 players in FantasyPros Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR). Hopefully the power hitter can return to the field and stay on it for the 2020 season but he won't be helping any teams this year. Adam Jones will now be in a full-time role in the outfield with this news.
