Fantasy Impact:
Gerber will be heading straight into the Giants lineup on Friday and hitting second. The 26-year-old outfielder has never been a big prospect. He has spent six years in the minors and had a cup of coffee with the Tigers last season hitting .095 over 18 games. Gerber will not be worth grabbing in fantasy.
