Cole Wilcox signs contract with Padres

Fantasy Impact:
Wilcox received a record-setting $3.3 million signing bonus, the most ever for a third-round selection. The Georgia product had signability questions that caused him to slip a round or two in the draft. San Diego will develop him as a starter for now.
