Brad Brach has been activated from the injured list and will join the Mets bullpen. He was placed on the IL in mid-July for undisclosed reasons. (Mike Puma on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Mets also activated Walker Lockett, who is probable to start on Wednesday. Ali Sanchez and Paul Sewald were both optioned in corresponding moves. Brach's first appearance this year will be his 2020-debut as he's missed the entirety of the season up to this point. He registered a 5.47 ERA, 1.62 WHIP, and a 1.94 K:BB ratio across 54.1 innings between the Cubs and the Mets in 2019.
