Yankees 2014 top draft pick, Jacob Lindgren, allowed his first earned run of the spring on Saturday. He pitched one inning, allowed one earned run on two hits, walked one and struck out one.
Fantasy Impact:
Jacob Lindgren was looked at as one of the most Major League ready draft options in 2014 and after a solid professional debut last summer, has proven his worth this spring. Lindgren is among several left-handed options the Yankees have as the spring comes to an end. While he is deserving of a roster spot, he could start the year in Triple-A Scranton. As a middle reliever, his fantasy value is limited to holds if he is in the Yankees bullpen, but he has the talent to be a very effective Major League reliever.
