Mac Sceroler pitched the final two and two-thirds innings in the Orioles 7-0 loss to the Yankees on Monday. He allowed zero hits, two walks, and struck out four, throwing 48 pitches.

Sceroler joined the Orioles as a rule-five draft pick in the offseason. Monday was his Major League debut and his first time pitching above Single-A. He topped out at 94.4 MPH and allowed two hard-hit balls. Sceroler is a starter by trade, but the Orioles are using him out of the bullpen, and if he pitches well, he could enter the mix for saves.
