Home run for back-up catcher Brett Hayes
by Gavin Tramps | Tue, Apr 21st 9:37am EDT
Catcher Brett Hayes went 1-for-4 against the White Sox on Monday. He took LHP John Danks deep in the fifth inning to record his first home run for the Indians.
Fantasy Impact:
With Yan Gomes on the DL, the Indians called up Brett Hayes from Triple-A to act as back-up to Roberto Perez. The 31 year-old is a career .209 AVG hitter and offers little fantasy value.
