The Braves are bringing back free agent catcher Tyler Flowers. He'll return to the team on a minor league contract and report to the alternate training site in Gwinnett. (David O'Brien on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Flowers has spent parts of each of the last 12 seasons in the majors, including the last five with the Braves. He was not re-signed in the offseason but is now being brought back after Travis d'Arnaud landed on the 60-day injured list with a thumb injury. He slashed .217/.325/.348 with eight walks and 34 strikeouts over 22 games last season.
