Already onto their third pitcher after just two innings, the Rangers called on Hyeon-jong Yang to go the distance and eat innings against the Astros on Friday. He did just that, lasting four frames while allowing three runs on three hits and three walks.
So far this season, Yang has a 3.38 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and .213 OBA through four games, including one start. The southpaw, who has accumulated a total of 16 innings on the mound this season, has five walks and 13 strikeouts to his name.
