Seth Frankoff done in by the long ball in loss to Colorado
by Jon Mathisen | Sat, May 22nd 1:02am EDT
RHP Seth Frankoff took the loss on Friday when he surrendered five runs on seven hits with one walk and two strikeouts in the Diamondbacks' 7-1 loss to the Rockies.
Fantasy Impact:
Frankoff was victimized by the long ball on Friday as Ryan McMahon tagged him for a two-run blast in the first inning before Raimel Tapia did the same in the second. His day was done after 68 pitches and five earned runs. He now owns a 7.27 ERA and 1.73 WHP after two starts (8 2/3 innings). He's slated to face the Giants at home in his next start but he should be avoided for fantasy purposes in that one.
